Jessie J, you might just wanna chillllll for a minute.
Girl was interviewed for Women’s Health UK and though I don’t hate her- I think she’s kinda middle of the road bland. Anyhow, she did this interview which made her blandness seem like arrogance and let me tell you, the piece isn’t going to win her any fans in her home country OR abroad. Here are some highlights:
Sheââ¬â¢s received two Brit Awards but sheââ¬â¢s never been asked to perform: ââ¬ÅIt makes me sadââ¬Â¦ Iââ¬â¢ve done the Grammys, the VMAs. My profile in America is that Iââ¬â¢m kind of celebrated as one of the greatest singers and I love it.ââ¬Â
On Fame: “All the things my personality had that made me become the person who felt confident enough to be Jessie J, fame just takes away. Like spontaneity, honesty, openness. Just completely being transparent.ââ¬Â
Her goal: ââ¬ÅI wanna be up there with the Celine Dions, the Whitneys, the Beyoncés and Arethas. I go hard because I hope and pray that one day, people look back and go, ââ¬ËShe could really fââ¬âking sing, you know.ââ¬â¢ Which is why I keep going.ââ¬Â
On Wanting Children: ââ¬ÅI talk about my children every day even though they donââ¬â¢t exist. It sounds really weird, but I do. I put into the universe that I love themââ¬Â¦who knows when itââ¬â¢s going to happen?ââ¬Â
On turning 28: ââ¬ÅThe 27 Club and all that. Itââ¬â¢s scary. I mean, the most hardcore I get is a glass of ginger wine, but if youââ¬â¢re successful at 27, the speed of your life is unreal. Nearly 30. You need to get your sh-t together.ââ¬Â

Listen, she’s got a lot of health issues and doing some self-preservation right now, but honestly? It’s like, girl’s gotta relax and find some humor in her weird celebrity. Don’t you think?
