I have to be honest, I was never a Taylor Swift fan during her whole country music thing. She grew on me when she changed over to pop music, but mostly I began to like her as a person because of how she treats her fans. Now, she has done another good deed and I just can’t say enough good things about her.
Tay-Tay has gifted her backup dancer’s nephew with $50,000 to help with his cancer battle. Seriously, such a good samaritan!
Her backup dancer is Kim “Toshi” Davidson and her 13-month-old nephew Ayden was just diagnosed with cancer. The family set up a GoFundMe page to help raise funds for medical expenses. Swift shared a note along with her donation: “Baby Ayden, I’m lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour. All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor.”
As of this writing, the family has raised $53,880 of their initial goal of $20,000. The page notes that Ayden’s mother was terminated from her job because she had to be by her son’s side at the hospital.
The most recent note from the GoFundMe page says:
Thank you so much for ALL of the outpouring of LOVE and PRAYERS and SUPPORT!!! TEAM AYDEN you are AMAZING!!! Little Ayden was transported yesterday to the Children’s Hospital where he will undergo a biopsy to determine exactly what type of cancer he has. We are praying for you Ayden! We love you!!!
