2015 Billboard Music Awards - Arrivals

I definitely think Chrissy Teigen CAN at times be funny, I’m just not sure I think these are one of those times…

On Friday the supermodel was forced to tweet an explanation about her comments surrounding her husband, John Legend, and “hot nannies,” comment at NY Fashion week, which if I may remind you, basically said her husband can have “No hot nannies, drivers, or maids”  and that “she does want to have kids one day, so it’s something that she has to think about. But the rule is no hot nannies. I trust John, but you never know with these men.”

Eeek. Obvi she got a lot of flack. She responded:

“Just like low carb diet of licking chips, my ‘no hot nannies’ comment was a joke, clearly lost upon many. what is life. why must i type this,” she wrote. “I don’t just go into random rants about hot nannies. The post asked, I jokingly answered. It isn’t that f—king deep.”

This came just days after Teigen quipped to reporters — including Us Weekly —  that she was keeping the “All of Me” singer, 36, away from any sexy women in the service industry.

Her comments were made just months after Affleck-gate and just before we all collectively groan because it feels like this kind of thing just reinforces male-female stereotypes. Chrissy went on to joke:

“These days, it doesn’t really matter what you look like — sometimes cabin fever just strikes and men do the do,” Teigen said, joking that she has to keep a close watch on her own “cute” female assistant. “It’s too late for me, though, because I have a hot assistant.”

Again, I really like Chrissy T I just think this comment is a little lame. Not like- chastise her and unfollow her on everything lame, but…eh.
What do you think of her comments?
