Camille Grammer has undergone a hysterectomy after being diagnosed with early stage endometrial cancer. The former ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star, 45, “underwent a radical hysterectomy” on Friday, October 11. According to her rep, “The surgery went very well and she is expected to make a complete recovery following a significant recuperation period.”
Her rep continued that Kelsey Grammer’s former wife “was at elevated risk due to genetic issues and has been diligent about regular check-ups and monitoring which explains the early detection and rapid treatment.” The Bravo star “expresses gratitude to all the amazing health care professionals who have taken such loving and nurturing care of her . . .She urges all women to be aware of genetic factors relating to women’s cancers and get regular check-ups.”
Camille appeared on ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ for three seasons, but will not be back for the upcoming fourth season. Seems that now she’s divorced from Kelsey, she’s not dramatic enough.
Hopefully she’ll make a full recovery! My mom had a hysterectomy when I was younger, that is a awful surgery!
