The eighth season of ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ just wrapped up, but there’s already some big changes coming for season nine. Sources confirm that Gretchen Rossi and Alexis Bellino have been fired from the show.

“Alexis and Gretchen were fired,” one source tells Us. “They just had run their course. Gretchen has been on the show a long time, and it was the same old story.”

Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow and Lydia McLaughlin have been asked back. Vicki is the only housewife who’s been there since the beginning.

Rossi and Bellino started out on the series as friends but had a falling out in season seven, when Rossi accused her pal of being “pretentious.” The ex-pals later attempted a reconciliation in season eight, but things didn’t go as planned.

In July, they took their fight to Twitter. “She was my friend for 2 1/2 years & NEVER told me [she had an issue] til it was the cool thing to do,” Bellino tweeted of Rossi.

“So not true,” Rossi retorted. “I tried to tell u in many different ways but u never listened, so I had to be a little more direct.” Later, she added: “I was ready to move on! But you couldn’t even recognize your wrongdoings as well or say you’re sorry. You weren’t all innocent in all this, A.”

What do you think about Gretchen and Alexis leaving the show? I think Gretchen was BEYOND annoying, so I’m not sorry to see her go. I’m glad this is all I’ll have to see of Slade, also. I don’t really care one way or the other about Alexis leaving.
