Looks like those rumors about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth calling it quits may actually be true!
Miley’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, accidentally told ABC News that the two were “still friends.” Huh? Aren’t they supposed to be engaged? “I don’t know. I know as I was writing a book, I wanted to keep that particular moment [Miley's wedding] as open-ended as possible. I didn’t know the answer,” Billy Ray told ABC in the interview that aired yesterday.
“They’re young, they’re kids, the great news is they’re great friends, they’re really good friends. I play it by ear, I know whatever’s meant to be that’s the way it’s going to happen.”
Apparently Miley, 20, and Liam, 23, were on a break after the “Hunger Games” star was caught cheating with January Jones (allegedly). Rumor has it Liam was fed up with her hard partying. (Case in point) Miley insisted the two were still together.
Billy Ray isn’t the only family member who isn’t sure about their wedding. Hemsworth’s sister-in-law Elsa Pataky, who is married to Chris Hemsworth, revealed last week she isn’t sure about the status of their relationship. “I don’t know,” Pataky said, according to The Sun. “If they get married it would be nice to go.”
