Khloe Kardashian-Odom Talks Infertility

Oh, Khloe Kardashian. It must be hard seeing your big sis Kim Kardashian pregnant, when you want a baby so badly yourself!

It’s definitely no secret that the reality star has had a tough time getting pregnant, and in the March 31 episode of Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, the 28-year-old awkwardly opens up about her infertility issues at a meal with stepbrother Brandon Jenner and his wife, Leah Felder.

Via US:

“How long have you guys been trying?” Brandon asks the X Factor co-host.

“Since I married Lamar,” Kardashian-Odom replies. The spouses decided to take a break from fertility treatments and see if they could conceive a child naturally, to no avail.

“About a year ago, we were like, ‘Let’s just see what happens.’ And then when it didn’t happen, Kim was like, ‘Let’s go to the doctor,'” the NBA player’s wife says. “I found out I don’t ovulate, and now my uterus lining isn’t thick enough and I have to take pills to make my uterus lining thicker. If that doesn’t get thicker, then I cannot carry a baby.”

We officially know EVERYTHING about the Kardashians, don’t we?

Poor Khloe, you know this has to be true or she would have had one by now. Sad that she is going through that!

My heart actually goes out to Khloe. She wants one and can’t… and Kim’s is an accident.

“they can always adopt”

Why is that someone’s infertility troubles are automatically dismissed this way? Adoption is a wonderful option but not for everyone – it can be extremely expensive and legally complicated. And for many it is simply not a substitute for carrying, birthing, and raising one’s biological child. No one would ever say to someone who lost a limb, “you can just get a prosthetic”. Think before making suggestions.
