MTV considering cancelling ‘Teen Mom 2’ over fears of Jenelle Evan’s future

Jenelle Evans has made the headlines a LOT lately. First her heroin use, then her jail time. Her continued legal trouble has become “too much of a liability” for MTV to continue working with.

Sources tell the NY Post that ‘Teen Mom 2’ is “definitely on its way out” and the network considers the 21-year-old too much of a risk. “The way she’s going, she could literally die and MTV will be blamed for it. They should have just taken away all her Twitters and Facebooks. Whatever,” the source says.

Since November Evans has become pregnant again, got married, lost her baby and publicly demanded a divorce.

In a statement MTV tried to play down the rumours, saying: ‘No decision has been made yet regarding a fifth season of Teen Mom 2.

‘But the network is planning to air the fourth season this year and will announce the premiere date soon.’

The Teen Mom brand has been badly tarnished by the antics of fellow tearaway Amber Portwood, who was jailed last year on drug charges, and producers have been unable to tone down Evans’ behaviour.

Last week she tweeted to her husband, Courtland Rogers: ‘You f***ng leave out of town and I might be having a miscarriage?! F*** U, U f****ing piece of s***.’

She also posted a serious of disturbing updates about her seven-week pregnancy ending.

Last Friday she told her 633,000 followers: ‘And this is the end, I think. Feel light headed.’

Hours later, she told them she was with her ex-fiance, Gary Head, at a North Carolina bar.

Since first appearing on MTV, Evans has been arrested seven times on charges including breaking and entering, assault, violation of probation and possession of drugs.

She also publicly feuded with her family and other cast members, been forced to give up custody of her three-year-old son and posed for nude photos, which ended up being leaked on the Internet.

Last year she was committed to rehab for a second time by her mother.

The show has continued to do well in the ratings however, pulling in more than 3.4 million viewers for its Season 3 premiere last November.

I agree the show should DEFINITELY be cancelled. I don’t see any redeeming value in it any more. It’s just too much to bear, the show. It’s not enjoyable to watch, it’s just incredibly sad. All around.
