Jennifer Lopez defends Beyonce’s lip-synching, “All performers do have to do it at some point”

Celebrities are coming out of the woodwork in defense of Beyonce, after the singer lip-synched the National Anthem during President Obama’s Inauguration.
Jennifer Lopez stopped by The Daily Show with Jon Stewart last night, and opened up about Beyonce’s decision to pre-record the track. “In certain venues and stuff, they do prerecord things, because you’re going to have that terrible slapback,” Lopez said.
“Sure,” chimed in Jon Stewart. “Slapback.”
“All performers do have to do it at some point,” Lopez added.
LeAnn Rimes has also spoken out in support of Beyonce. “I’m actually taking up for her on this one,” LeAnn said, arguing that the decision may not have been the singer’s to make. “There are times when people will ask you to do it, and they will not let you do it unless you do it because they want control over what happens.”
Here are pictures of Jennifer arriving at the Daily Show, and then leaving after in a different outfit.
