Cameron Diaz graces the June cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK.
The beautiful pictures were shot by photographer Tom Munro.
The 39-year-old actress opened up about British men. “I love their sense of humour and the sense of chivalry and charm.
Itââ¬â¢s something that is innately a part of the culture – we donââ¬â¢t have that over here, itââ¬â¢s not the same in America. (Colin Firth) is the perfect Englishman. Just enough of the self-effacing to a point that itââ¬â¢s comfortable for other people, but also totally charming and engaging to where he makes you feel special. Heââ¬â¢s got that British honesty.”
“I love London. I love the Brits, I always have. I have a weak spot for them. I grew up on Monty Python. I love Little Britain. My grandfather used to watch Benny Hill all the time.”
Cameron also opened up about her relationship with Gwyneth Paltrow. “We became very close after my dadââ¬â¢s death. She reached out and it was very sweet. We bonded on that.”
Interviewer Melissa Whitworth said Cameron is very down to earth. She said: “We spent three hours together… Drank a bottle of rosé, ate food and talked and talked. That’s the best way to experience someone and work out what makes them tick: when they are utterly relaxed. It was one of my favourite interviews in the 13 years I’ve been doing this. She’s been interviewed into oblivion over the last 18 years, so I expected her to be jaded, but not a bit.”
Melissa isn’t the only one gushing about Cameron. Earlier this month, former boyfriend Alex Rodriguez called Cameron ‘one of the greatest human beings’ he has ever met.
The baseball player, who dated the famous blonde for 18 months, said during an interview on The Insider: ‘I don’t like talking about my relationships, but what I will tell you about CD is that she’s probably one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever met, and just an amazing light.’
Cameron will soon be seen on the silver screen once again in ensemble rom-com What To Expect When You’re Expecting, alongside Jennifer Lopez, Chris Rock and Chace Crawford.
The film also features the highly-anticipated cameo performance from Cheryl Cole.
