Lindsay Lohan says she should never have gone to jail.

The ‘Mean Girls’ actress – who recently completed her 35-day house arrest, which was in lieu of jail time for her stealing a necklace from an upscale boutique and violating the terms of her 2007 conviction for driving under the influence (DUI) – spent time behind bars for the violation of her probation last year but feels she was treated very harshly.

Asked what she thought of her sentence, Lindsay said: “Unless you’re a killer, I don’t see a reason to stay there. I never hurt anyone but myself.”

Lindsay says she wants to put all her problems behind her and concentrate on her acting career, after signing up to appear in mob movie ‘Gotti: Three Generations’.

She told Vanity Fair Italy: “In October, I’ll begin work. I hope to spend next year on set.”

Lindsay – who completed a three-month court-ordered rehab stint in January after being released from prison – recently revealed she has made “a lot of mistakes” in her life but blamed them on being young and naive.

The 25-year-old star – who shot to fame in 1998 Disney film ‘The Parent Trap’ at the age of just 11 – said: “I think that being young and in the position that I was in you don’t really take the time to appreciate what you have. It was all a whirlwind but I’m not a kid anymore I’m 24 and I’ve made a lot of mistakes but I feel like if I can just stay focused I can achieve what I want to achieve.”

She believes only murderers should go to jail? Wow, she really has lost it.

PS: I wish she’d stop bleaching her hair. It looks like crap! She looks so much better with her natural, reddish hair. The bleach blonde just makes her look cheap, in my opinion.

Haven’t seen Charlie Sheen in a while! Yesterday afternoon, Charlie was spotted visiting his doctor in Beverly Hills, CA.

This is the first sighting of Charlie since May 11!

The same day Charlie presumably went for a check-up, Comedy Central announced that Sheen would be the special guest of honor at one of its notorious roasts.

The roast will tape in Los Angeles on September 10 and will air on the network on September 19.

“You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this roast for a while,” said Sheen, in a statement on Tuesday. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.”

“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in this Roast…which scares even us,” said Kent Alterman, Comedy Central’s head of original programming and production.

Something interesting to note: on September 19 – the very same night that Comedy Central airs its roast of Charlie Sheen-CBS will air the re-tooled Two and a Half Men with Ashton Kutcher making his first appearance on the hit sit-com.

The new ‘Men’ will air at 9 p.m. ET, while the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen begins at 10 pm ET.

I’ve never been interested in any of the roasts up until this point, but this one I may have to watch. I think it will be great! Are you going to watch?

I know that Vivid Entertainment throws porn offers at just about anyone, but this in particular really rubs me the wrong way. I think everyone knows Casey killed Caylee – and to offer her ANYTHING really just makes me sick.

Casey Anthony clearly has daddy issues … which means she’d make a GREAT porn star … and TMZ has learned she’s already received an offer from the biggest name in the biz.

Hours after she was found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Tuesday, Vivid Entertainment honcho Steve Hirsch called up Casey’s lawyer, Jose Baez, to discuss the possibility of a business relationship.

Hirsch tells TMZ … “Whether you agree with the verdict or not, Casey will want to move forward with her life and has a right to make a living. It’s not going to be easy for her and we believe we can help her make the transition into a new life.”

No word on how much Hirsch is willing to pony up … but he thinks there’s a realistic chance … noting, “We’ve all seen the pictures of her partying and having a good time with friends where she definitely looks hot.”

So far, Hirsch has yet to hear back from Anthony’s lawyer … but he says, “I’m sure Baez and Casey are celebrating today, but I’m hoping to connect with him very soon.”

I say instead of doing porn, she should have to be a janitor on a porn set.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel might have broken up in March, but a source tells the new Us Weekly their 4-year-romance hasn’t fizzled out just yet.

Timberlake, 30, and Biel, 29, are “quietly seeing each other again,” says a source. “They have been talking the whole time and decided to give it another shot. Jessica really wanted to get back together with him and Justin realized single life is not what it’s cracked up to be.”

On July 3, the couple shared pork tacos at the Black Hoof restaurant in Toronto. But another insider cautions reconciliation won’t be easy and adds that for now, “they’re just spending time together and taking things slowly.”

Which movie ruled this weekend? Was it ‘Transformers 3′ or ‘Larry Crowne’? Does this question even need be asked? OF COURSE Transformers dominated. It really, really REALLY dominated!

The “Transformers” robots have put their 3-D ticket-price advantage to good use.

Distributor Paramount Pictures estimated Monday that “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” pulled in $116.4 million domestically over the four-day Fourth of July weekend and $181.1 million since opening Tuesday night.

Director Michael Bay’s third installment in the sci-fi franchise has added $217 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to nearly $400 million. (IN LESS THAN ONE WEEK!!!!)

The studio says 60 percent of domestic business came from premium-priced 3-D admissions, which cost a few dollars more than 2-D screenings. Overseas, 3-D admissions accounted for 70 percent of ticket sales.

The weekend’s other new wide releases opened back in the pack. Universal Pictures’ recession romance “Larry Crowne” opened quietly at No. 4 with $15.7 million despite the star power of writer-director Tom Hanks and co-star Julia Roberts. The movie stars Hanks as a downsized retail worker who heads back to school, where he falls for his public-speaking teacher (Roberts).

While “Transformers” and “Cars 2″ played to young audiences, the over-35 crowd accounted for 81 percent of the audience for “Larry Crowne.” Movies appealing to older audiences tend to stick around longer in theaters, and Universal executives hope fans will seek out the movie once Fourth of July festivities are behind them.

“For adults who are always preoccupied with barbecues and entertaining and family, my expectations were never greater than this,” said Nikki Rocco, the studio’s head of distribution.

I think saying that 81 percent of the people who saw ‘Larry Crowne’ were over 35 is being generous. I say over 50 is more like it. This movie looked like a complete DUD if you ask me, but I’m sure my mom and pops would love it!

No, I did not see ‘Larry Crowne’, but I didn’t see ‘Transformers 3′ either. By the looks of the money it made, I may be the only person on the planet that didn’t see it this weekend. $400 million in less than a week!? That is crazy ridiculous!! It’s not even good – is it? I know I’ll have to go see it eventually, I have two sons – they love this junk.
