Kate Middleton is the latest fashion icon!
When the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William had a meet and greet with President Obama and the First Lady on Tuesday, the tan dress she wore became an instant must-have item.
The Reiss dress, which costs $340, called “Shola”, was quickly sold out – and the demand for the dress crashed the website!
A spokesperson for Reiss told the Washington Post that traffic to the website increased by over 300 percent after fashionistas learned the designer of Kateââ¬â¢s outfit.
Reiss tweeted on Wednesday morning, ââ¬ÅTo all our Shola fans!…The dress has now sold out online and in the US, with very limited stock left in UK stores,ââ¬Â and that theyââ¬â¢re still hard at work trying to fix any bugs on their site.
If you did miss out on a Shola purchase, Reiss has a few backups in mind. “Don’t panic,” the fashion brand tweeted. “[W]e have some rather lovely ‘Shola Substitute’ dresses still available!”
