LeAnn Rimes not only enjoys playing stepmom to Eddie Cibrian’s young sons, it seems she has become equally maternal about her boyfriend ever since he lost his job on CSI: Miami. “She’s lavishing him with attention and trying to keep his spirits up,” says an insider. LeAnn also practices retail therapy with Eddie, 37, although his rep denies the story. “He’s a clothes horse. She buys him designer stuff all the time to cheer him up — and he eats it up,” the insider says. “He says one of the things missing from his first marriage was that Brandi [Glanville] didn’t pay enough attention to him, especially after they had kids. He jokes that he’s now a kept man.”
