TLC suing Jon Gosselin for breach of contract
The TLC cable TV network says it’s suing Jon Gosselin for breaching his contract as star of the reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”
The lawsuit, filed Friday in Maryland, alleges that Gosselin hasn’t met the obligations of his contract as an exclusive employee, has appeared on other programs for pay and made unauthorized disclosures about the show.
Gosselin has starred for two years in “Jon & Kate Plus 8,” which has been consumed in recent months by marital turmoil as Gosselin and his wife, Kate, feuded, then filed for divorce. The couple are the parents of young twins and sextuplets.
Recently, TLC announced the show would be renamed “Kate Plus Eight,” with a reduced presence by Jon Gosselin. A TLC spokeswoman, Laurie Goldberg, has said the show’s longtime future remains in question.

Why is Kate allowed to go all over the talk show circuit and bad mouth Jon but when he goes on to defend himself he gets his hands slapped from TLC. They seem to run the network like a dictatorship and support only Kate. Regardless he is the father of those adorable children and they can\’t take that away.

TLC and Kate are mad because Jon stopped their meak ticket (the kids) so now they want to make Jon pay for being a concer father. Kate is unfit for using her kids. She just wants to be a movie star and the only way that will happen is to use the kids.

I would be happy not to see Jon or Kate in the media for some time now. While he did breach his contract, I would have rather not seen him on tv anyways.

In honor of the film, Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini has designed a special, limited edition T-shirt, which will be sold in select Gucci stores worldwide and on gucci.com. Extending the message of sustainability, Giannini designed the T-shirt using 100% organic cotton and natural dyes in recyclable packaging. The design features the official HOME logo in which Giannini has integrated the iconic Gucci “GG” symbol, while the back includes the names of each country featured in the film. A white canvas bag with the HOME logo in gold accompanies the T-shirt. On sale from May 25 the T-shirt will be available in both men’s and women’s sizes, with all profits donated to Goodplanet.org, a non-profit association created by Yann Arthus-Bertrand in 2005.
Frida Giannini said, “Anyone who watches this film will not fail to be deeply moved by the incredible imagery captured by Yann Arthus-Bertrand. It is a truly remarkable call to action for all us to play a part in protecting the planet for the generations to come.”
HOME will receive a unique multi-platform release on June 5th – World Environment Day – in cinemas, on television, on DVD and on the internet in 14 different languages and in over 87 countries around the world.
