Khloé Kardashian, the perpetually single younger sister of long-term relationship queens Kim, 28, and Kourtney, 30, has had a whirlwind engagement to her boyfriend of barely a month, LA Lakers forward Lamar Odom. “We fell in love and were talking about marriage so fast,” Khloé, 25, tells Life & Style in an exclusive interview. “We went to dinner with my family at Boa recently, and he asked my mom if he could marry me!” And the engagement will be even shorter than the courtship: The happy couple plan to tie the knot on Sept. 27, ahead of the start of the NBA season on Oct. 7 says a source. “Lamar starts his season soon, and we want to be married,” gushes Khloé. “We have good energy and chemistry. I’ve never met a man that makes me feel more at peace with myself.”

Understandably, the close knit family’s opinion of Lamar means the world to Khloé. Luckily, they approve! “Kim and Kourtney are beyond excited for the wedding,” an insider tells Life & Style. And older sister Kim isn’t bitter that Khloé’s getting hitched, even though everyone expected that she and Reggie would be having the next Kardashian wedding. “I’m pleasantly surprised that Khloé’s getting married,” Kim exclusively tells Life & Style about Khloé’s nuptials. “It was totally unexpected. Lamar is one of the sweetest, most compassionate guys I know.”

“Marriage will definitely change her,” Kim tells Life & Style. “She will learn to live with someone, take care of someone, have and share a life with someone. This is when her life begins!”

Of course rumors are swirling that Khloe is the second Kardashian to be currently knocked up.  Could that be the reason for the shotgun wedding? What do you think?
