   i think that Burton’s version is miserable
   American McGee’s Alice deserves much more attention and it’s film version might be would NEVER see the world because of this Burton’s “amazing” hell knows what
   and i don’t like look of this Alice. She’s just WRONG! How can she be blonde? Again?! She was dark haired!

   I thought Alice always was a blonde? I never read the book, but always in tv/cartoons/whatever – always blonde…

   Anyhow, I think she (above) looks perfect.

   She looks like a blonde in the Tenniel drawings in my 1906 edition of Alice. For instance:
