Isabella: Paparazzi torturer

Actress and model Isabella Rossellini says she spent her childhood ‘torturing the paparazzi’ outside her family home in Italy.
The 56 year old Rossellini, best known for her work with Lancome and roles in films Blue Velvet and Death Becomes Her, is the daughter of Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman and director Roberto Rossellini. She says that she and her twin sister Isotta and brother Roberto would spend their afternoons pelting the paparazzi that sat outside their home with rocks and water, enjoying every moment of it.
“The paparazzi were always there. We threw stones at them, and water. We had a war with them. My mother was just like, ‘Stop! Stop! They will think I have some savage children and it will be my fault!’ But we had a ball torturing them.”

That would be a cute story if she didn’t have such a history of creating childhood stories that didn’t really happen. Isotta and Roberto spend half their lives explaining that none of this stuff ever really happened.
