Although Mad World was good it wasn\\\’t near as powerful as what Adam did it a few weeks back. I have to agree that Kris did win that round but in an overall comparison they aren\\\’t in the same league. Adam could compete vocally and probably beats guys like Freddie Mercury, Robert Plant, etc, in their prime. In my opinion he may be one of the best vocal talents ever.
I was really hoping Adam would sing Bohemian Rhapsody on one of the shows as that would of really shown off his incredible vocal range. Other songs I was dying to here him sing were Creep (Radiohead), Dream On (Areosmith), or Stairway to Heaven (Zeppelin) because they are all rock classics that Lambert would put his spin on and possible make then sound better then the originals.

Ruby I agree 100%. Can you imagine being at one of his concerts? You’d need ear plugs and a bottle of Advil just to get through the 1st song!

I hope he wins! And if he doesn’t I hope it isn’t because he is gay, seems like that is what the news media is focusing on : http://www.newsy.com/videos/idol_finale_full_of_subplots I like to think that Idol fans don’t vote that way but the comments on this blog suggest that they do.

To all of you Adam haters, you’re obviously included in the comment that “American doesn’t know real talent if it bit it in the ASS!!!! Kris totally suckes and was off on all kinds of notes. Obviously, you people out there have no talent - so I can see where it would be hard for you to recognize a natural talent, such as Adam Lambert, when it’s staring you smack in the face!! And in this day and age, where we have come so far in acceptance in all diversities in the world, who the hell do you guys think you are?? Under what world do you think you have ANY rights to judge another human being regarding their sexual preferences? And what the HELL does any of that have to do with a person’s amazing singing abilities? NOTHING!!! Get your heads out of your asses and recognize!!!! You are all a bunch of no talent hypocrites. I guarantee you all - - Adam Lambert is a Super Star and will go a hell of a lot further than small town wannabe Kris Allen.

There was no comparison to the talent. This was strickly a popularity contest. Adam is the real winner and you will see who will be making hit records and albums. Obviously American Idol needs to relook at the voting procedures. They either need to leave it up to the professional judges or look allowing more time to vote and consider online voting. Everyone could not even vote because the lines were so busy. People had to wait four hours and could still not get to vote. Adam has such diversity and blew Kris away. Kris cannot hit high notes. I know I will be buying the first record or album put out by Adam and so will everyone else.
