Robert Pattinson injured on the ‘New Moon’ set

According to set insiders Pattinson was hit in the head by a piece of flying metal.
During the filming in Vancouver, heavy winds tore metal from a nearby sign. It flew at him so fast, no one even had a chance to shout a warning.
Walker writes that Rob dropped and “then lay deadly still as cast and crew ran to help, sending out a call for an ambulance. Finally, Pattinson – looking like he’d had the blood sucked from him – began moving feebly, disoriented, but able to speak. The crew put ice packs on a knot sized lump, and by the time medics arrived, the star was coherent and insisting he was fine.

He still should have gone to have it checked out; we just lost a great actress due to a head injury last week.

Not trying to be funny, but after Natasha Richardson I would get checked out if I were him. I will never treat a bang to the head the same any more.

That’s the first thing I thought of as well, Natasha thought she was ‘fine’ too. Scary stuff!
