Ex: I’m Proud of Christina
Christina Applegate’s ex Jonathan Schaech is praising the actress for speaking out about her battle with breast cancer.
“She is doing well. How wonderful it is that, because of what happened to her, people are becoming more aware,” he told Usmagazine.com Wednesday at the “Building a Greater Los Angeles” gala.
“She is stepping out. She was on Oprah. She is making an effort to make everyone aware of everything that she learned from this - how to prevent and save lives,” Schaech said.
He added, “She is not a superhero - nobody is - but she is beating this.”
Despite divorcing in 2005, Schaech says he and Applegate still “e-mail and text.” In 2007, they famously made out at a Hollywood club.
