DMX’s Thursday afternoon shopping trip in Miami, Florida was ruined by police, who showed up to arrest him.

The rap star, real name Earl Simmons, was handcuffed as he left a Wal-Mart store.

A warrant for DMX’s arrest was issued after he missed a court date on Tuesday stemming from drug charges in Arizona.

His lawyer, Charles Kozelka, tells TMZ.com he was in the process of working out a self-surrender when police spotted the rapper shopping.

Thursday’s incident is the troubled rapper’s sixth arrest of the year.
