Chris Noth blasts Victoria’s Secret lingerie
Chris Noth has slammed the marketing experts at lingerie firm Victoria’s Secret, claiming the company’s models look “gaudy”.
The actor, who plays romantic Mr. Big in the upcoming Sex & The City movie after playing the role on TV, reveals he isn’t a fan of the popular lingerie giant, insisting Victoria’s Secret models look like they’re trying too hard.
He tells WENN, “I’m not into Victoria’s Secret so much. I find it over the top. I like subtlety and I like elegance. I think their things are gaudy and they are really trying too hard. If I could make a fashion statement, I think that Victoria’s Secret looks to me like somebody who is putting on too much make-up. It’s too gaudy, man. I mean, come on take it easy, you don’t have to have a f***in’ bouquet of flowers on your underwear. Sorry Victoria’s Secret; I hope they’re not one of our sponsors!”

Everyone is so fixated on this stupid brand
and its crap.
The material is cheap (for what it costs)
unsupportive and sexy, or supportive and ugly,
waste of space, catalog paper, and feeding that those pieces are what sexy actually are.

Agreed. I like VS and all… some of the stuff – like makeup, fragrances, and the cheap underwear that they sell like 5 for $15 or something… But a freakin’ “special” $60 bra is ridiculous, specially since they’re either really plain and ugly looking, or way too flowery and sparkly.
I don’t know much about their shoes and clothes since they won’t sell that stuff in stores… but I’ve heard that it’s way overpriced and the material sucks.

so agreed. i brought that crap angels underwear and after one wash the lace on the sides started to rip! i took a picture and emailed to corporate because they were tryin to give me a credit and i said hell no i want my money back. the bras are super unsupportive. they barely have anything for a 36dd. just because you have big ones doesnt mean you dont want to have a sexy bra. they are the worst. the ONLY thing i havent had an issue with is the swimwear

I agree there’s a lot of Victoria’s Secret stuff I wouldnt buy, but their T Shirt bras ARE amazing–supportive AND sexy, trust. So Tanisha has 36DD. Well duh VS isn’t for you, then, because you probably are really fat and its not very cost effective for a company to stock sizes that arent all that common in their target consumer base (and whats the deal with shopping at VS if you don’t want a sexy bra? Get over it!). While some of their lingerie ensembles aren’t all that impressive, I consistently enjoy the bright and fun PINK prints. I like some of their body sprays and makeup, the PINK pajamas and casual wear. Ordering their clothes and shoes and stuff is usually a non issue because most of that stuff isn’t VS…I got a pair of Steve Maddens from the site. The only impressive lingerie they ever had was designed by a French lingerie designer and was five times as expensive. The site and catalogue have better stuff than the store but really PINK is the only thing that keeps me coming back.

I’m also a 36DD, sure I’m chunky. I wear a 10/12, which, newsflash! The average size in this country is 14! What about a 36″ measurement implies fat anyway? About the smallest adult-women bras that you find are 34″. And the DD, well, that is just blessed.
I would think it would be in ANY company’s financial best interest to cater to the largest cut of the demographic that they can. So it’s not worth it to them to stock the sizes that most American women wear? That doesn’t make sense.
I like the Pink collection of stuff too, but as for quality, eh. Any of my bras that I ever had the underwire pop through after a few washings have been VS bras. I even use one of those lingerie bags and don’t put them in the dryer, so I’m careful enough. I think there are plenty of cute options for much, much cheaper at other stores.

Oh yeah and Holly has big boobs, too, but they’re implants. And it’s actually really funny, because she’s VERY short, and she’s gained some weight in the past few years and her implants make her look even fatter. She looks like Danny Devito with tits, seriously!! lmao
