she looks kind of like a gremlin, I hope her mom doesn’t feed her past midnight!

Does anyone else think it is kinda BIZARRE how much they are “pimping out” this 8 yr old girl?! For goodness sakes, let her be a CHILD FIRST>…Not just Steve Irwin’s daughter continuing on the legacy–I mean, couldn’t they WAIT 12 more yrs til she is an ADULT?!

I agree…no disrespect to the dead, but I could barely stand Steve Irwin, let alone the offspring

Bind’s purpose in life is to feed her extended family in the way they have become acustomed to. It’s a disgrace for this mother to put her daughter through this. It’s sad the burden this kid has to live up too. Besides, Steve Irwin was a complete asshole.

I believe Bindi wanted to do this…I don’t think she would’ve let them not allow her to do it…I think that it’s great….She’s teaching children about animals/endangered animals—I think that in itself is wonderful and she should be proud of herself. She is a great role model for young children.

Whether she “wants” this or not, this is so wrong. That child is being used, or call it pimped out.
An 8-year-old in a normal family is not given the choice what she “wants” to do either, is she? It’s up to the parents to decide what’s appropriate or good/bad for their children, then and only then should a child get choices.
Of course she “wants” to continue the legacy, she loved her dad.
She may think again when she’s a washed out adult whoat twenty has been everywhere, done it all, and has no challenges left in life?
Or what’s going to happen when the people who seem to think that she’s cute now, move on to the next child star, and she’ll reach the gawky stage and then, heaven forbid, grow up?
That child is being pimped out.

Bindi wants to swim with stingrays now. She is not a great role model wanting to put her life in danger and torture animals like her father. Please, Bindi is to young to understand what is really going on here. She misses her dad and probablly feels this is a way to stay close to him.
