I can’t believe we all have nothing better to do then read and post to this topic. Who are we judge what she does. If they want to have kids natural or adopt why should we care it’s not our business. I agree with the other pro-brangelina posts. She is one of the few Hollywood Celebrities that actually uses her power for the good of humanity. She has done so much charity work and donated so much money to the greater good. So perhaps you should spend less time judging and maybe get your large ass off the couch and follow Angelina’s example.
I guess I’m a hater too, because I think it sucks that she used her “power” to take another woman’s husband. Just because she does charity work doesn’t make her a saint. Besides doesn’t charity begin at home? It’s not like there aren’t children in our own country who need homes. In addition, you sound a bit judgemental yourself making comments about the size of a person’s behind and telling them what they should be doing when you don’t know for yourself what that person does to help others in their “non-cyber” lives. That “Saint Angelina” (in reference to that ridiculous “Walmart” painting) does do charity work….fine. But to make it sound like she’s the second coming? Brangelina are by no means the only ones to do charity work or to adopt numerous children from all walks of life. There are so many other non-famous people who sacrifice their income and time for charity. I have a couple of friends who went to Africa on limited funds to give all their time to aid others. But the difference? They threw themselves right into it, and by that I mean they lived with these people and went through many hardships eg. one fell ill and the other suffered 3 fractures to his back when the driver of the car he was in rolled the vehicle about 10 times. He survived only due to his seat belt. He was flown home to recover, but you know what? As soon as he recovered, he went right back. My point is that these “others” are not famous for their money, beauty or connections. You don’t see their names or faces splashed across magazine covers for their work. And no red carpet treatment. They remain unknown in the background, not recognized and little thanks for the work they do or the sacrifices they make. I doubt AJ would let her hands get that dirty. I understand they stay in the best hotels and eat very well while there. I commend their work, but please, let’s credit all those involved, not just them.

Taryn….in response to Linda’s comment, I think you’re missing the point. I believe all she is saying is that what they do is over inflated due to who they are, not about commenting on other humanitarians on this page. They are viewed as icons as they are the most “genetically perfect couple” ever created. She, the most beautiful woman in the world and he, the most handsome man. They have the most “beautiful baby” ever conceived. If these two didn’t have the looks, they wouldn’t get the kind of media coverage they do. And to say that Shilo is the most beautiful baby in the world,well,wrong. She’s cute alright, but I’ve seen prettier/cuter babies. But babies should not be judged in that way anyway.
Oh, and by the way, in response to your earlier comment that it was Brad’s fault, I have news for you. A co-worker’s brother is in the film industry and worked on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith. He said she worked Pitt liked a snake charmer. She knew he was married, made a point of finding out what turned his crank and went to work on him. Those he worked with there said that this was her signature approach to getting what/who she wants. So, sorry kitten, but they were BOTH to blame.

I think if she is pregnant and that is what they want then it is a gift. I find it hilarious how other people can be so bothered by her having more children. She certainly has the means to support them and if she wants to be a mother then go for it. I know plenty of people who have kids that should not and no one bats an eye. Then a couple who loves children does and the jealousy jumps out.
Just to add on to that. To those who have so many negative opinions about her humanitarian work just because she is rich. I have more respect for a person who built a career for themselves and then instead of taking their riches and shaving their heads they do something with it. If you had millions can you say for sure you would give to others? Her personal relationship between her and Brad and the history with Jennifer is exactly that. PERSONAL. People, really? I stumbled across this because I’ve been hearing rumors that she’s pregnant and wanted to confirm. When I saw these arguments, I laughed. Some make it sound like she purposely chases paparazzi and begs them to take pictures of her and her children while she’s just trying to live her life. In choosing her career, she also chose to sacrifice privacy as well as the privacy of her future family. She does her best to keep her children out of the lime light, but it can only be prevented so far in short of keeping her family under house arrest. To my knowledge, no one has ever claimed either Angelina or Brangelina as the most humanitarian and/or most giving couple on the planet and they certainly haven’t received any kind of award of the like. They are simply people that make a lot of money and use their influence to focus on what their passionate about. i.e. helping foreign refugees and children. Personally, it seems like jealousy to dislike her so much for having money and an obviously happy family. It’s undeniable that she’s talented, she beautiful, and she’s used her given gifts for the betterment of the human race. But she’s only one person, let’s remember. She does what she can for her cause. That doesn’t mean she should have to live in a hut and eat dirt because she tries to help. If she can afford to stay in a five star hotel while giving her time freely to help refugees and to talk to them and what not, who cares? It’s not saying that the people that actually do live in huts and eat mud are any less of a help. Now really, get rid of the jealousy and just appreciate the woman for what she is, what she does, what she has, and what she’s accomplished.

Okay people….listen up! You really want to know what Brangelina is like? I know first hand because I work security at one of the top hotels (I’ll only say that it is in Canada)that cater to celebs. Therefore, Alysha is a pseudo-name for obvious reasons. Let me tell you that when they arrived that early evening, they wanted to fight with everyone there as soon as they stepped in the door…and especially with the staff. Pitt was a big prick and AJ, a total bitch … little temper tantrums and all. (and yes, Jen Aniston can be grumpy and unpleasant also). I grant that their lives can be stressful as they live high profile lifestyle, but there is no need to be so nasty to people who are there to help. But man, Jolie can get a scary look in her eye when things are not to her liking. So, as sweet as they may seem in public, think again. But, I have met many celebrities who are genuinely nice, down to earth people(and generous tippers). I’ve never been very interested in Pitt and Jolie, but I’m even less impressed now. They made it an unpleasant couple of days work.

To the gal who thinks that Angelina sleeps in hotels when she’s visiting third world countries. I can confirm that she actually sleeps in run down huts and buildings. An aquaintance of mine, who is highly ranked in the government, slept in the same run down shanty as Angelina did a week prior. Also, I read that she is not shy about staying in a low priced motel.
Everyone affects the world in a positive or negative way. I’m all for paying attention to all the positives that Angelina and Brad do for the world.

Hello She does take care of what she has got. I do not understand how someone can say you must adopt from this country first then another. No child should be abandoned. The difference though is in the US they get foster care. Where she adopted her babies they dont get near that. These children are at risk for AIDS and worse. So to say one child deserves more than another is stupid. She did a good thing and those who judge her for it, where did you adopt your children? Who cares. These children had their lives saved and a bunch of haters want to make that look like a selfish act. I pity the people in this world who can not take joy in another persons happiness without imposing their own values and morals on it. She did what she thought was the right thing to do by those babies. I dont need to point out every negative thing I can see in someone else to feel better about my life. My life is fabulous so I congratulate others who feel content in theirs. Even if it is not what I would have chosen for myself. I am not the one she has to answer to. It is those precious babies she cares for daily. Like it or not nanny or no nanny she did an amazing service to those children. I am sure that is all she was concerned about. If all you do is change one persons life then you have done something that most of us would never get to do. I work with cancer patients every day and have learned that when it is finally your day to go all that matters is how you lived your own life. Not for someone you dont even know. She has affected an entire country. By being in those countries millions of dollers were donated. If I had that kind of power I would do exactly the same thing. Good for her. Stop being jealous and let others make their own decisions for their life. Start living your own life.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Adoption Request Denied

NEW ORLEANS - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have failed in their latest attempt to add to their rainbow family. The actor-activist couple learned yesterday that a New Orleans animal shelter had denied their request to adopt a three-month-old Labrador retriever puppy.
The shelter’s refusal came as a shock to Brangelina watchers, who assumed that the couple’s celebrity status and clout would be sufficient to allow them to adopt the next dalai lama if they chose. So, Brangelina watchers are asking, “What went wrong?”
A shelter employee who did not wish to be identified provided answers to that question.
“Granted, we are in the business of finding good homes for animals, but we don’t just hand them over to every Tom, Dick, and Brad who walks through the door flashing money, a pretty wife, and a megawatt smile.”
According to the shelter employee, the Jolie-Pitts’ adoption request was denied because they had failed to answer several items on the adoption questionnaire satisfactorily.
“First, they did not meet our six month’s residency requirement. Then under the why-do-you-want-a-pet question, they wrote, ‘As a companion for our children.’ That’s not always a red flag, but two of their children are too young to behave responsibly around puppies, and we got the impression the couple wasn’t through having and adopting chldren yet. Frankly, they came uncomfortably close to matching our ‘collectors’ profile
“We were also concerned about the couple’s marital status, as we prefer to place puppies in more traditional intact homes. Their lack of knowledge about the breed didn’t help their cause either. She couldn’t even point to Labrador on a map, then she tried to excuse her failure by saying it was obviously not a country with pressing humanitarian issues.”
The shelter employee was also puzzled by Ms. Jolie’s behavior toward the puppy.
“During a supervised interaction period she held the puppy in her arms the entire time. Mr. Pitt kept asking her to put the puppy in the stroller he had brought with them so he could practice taking it for walks, but she ignored him until she finally told him to shut up. I felt sorry for him. He had the look of a man who’s used to taking orders.”
Neither Mr. Pitt nor Ms. Jolie answered our requests for comments about the shelter worker’s statements.
no matter what the post is about, there should never be a statement like “she’s having her second child”. If you want to state that then put “biological” in front of (although in the end it doesn’t really matter). It is insensitive and ignorent to refer to a blended family simply in terms of how the child came to be a part of that family. One day, those children will grow up and have to react and cope with people (well-intentioned or not) who make comments such as that, which perpetuate the idea that they are “only” adopted. So while I understand if it is written simply out of social insensitivity and subsequently corrected, the individual who so intelligently referred to themselves as “DUHHHH” needs to take some serious time to reflect on how defending an inaccurate statement like that can effect others, especially a child. You may love them, you may hate them, you may not even care but at least attempt to shed some of your ignorent and insensitive characteristics. Their family consists of four individual and diverse children, not one.
I am happy for her! She obviously wants kids, and who says she can’t? I would feel horrible if I read that people didn’t want me to have kids! I am completly with Sally.

Angelina has four kids now. Four CHILDREN. HERS. Doesn’t matter how they came to this family. For better or worse, she is their mother now and I believe firmly that she saved Zahara from certain death, and Maddox and Pax from miserable existence. She also loves dearly her second DAUGHTER Shiloh.
IF she is pregnant, she will have her FIFTH child now. The fact that is would be biological is something insignificant and not-worth commenting on. If she’s pregnant, she is pregnant with her FIFTH child. Period.

As far as I’m concerned, Angelina Jolie is a home-wrecker who should not be allowed to have children because she is lacking in family values and basic morals, two factors which contribute to the positive upbringing of children. Secondly, the woman can not even take care of herself, let alone children. Jolie is starving to death, has publicly made out with her brother and for a brief moment, wore a vile of blood around her neck. Does that sound like a stable, loving mother? Lastly, the woman may use her celebrity status to aid countries in need but, I think weère all forgetting that her donating is a tax write off and her visiting brings about publicity, employment opportunities and a way for her to redeem herself for the homewrecking tramp that she is.

At least if she is pregnant with baby #2 or #5 which ever you prefer to call it,she is in a position to take care of it. Not only for the rest of her life but the kids are set too. She’s not having yet ANOTHER baby that us tax payers have to take care of via the welfare system. She’s not coming here with 5-6 kids already, taking benefits away from our own citizens that don’t qualify for any assistance. Plus, it is well known that Brad Pitt had wanted children from the very beginning, while his first wife didn’t seem to want them at all. It was confirmed yesterday that she is pregnant. Now….for all of you who condemn those who dislike her for cohorting with another man are nothing but hypocrites. Descent women with the “morals” and “values” that you so speak of would never touch a married man with a ten foot pole. Not only is it tacky, but Karma has a way of coming back around and biting you in the arse. Secondly, her charity work seems more like a publicity stunt than anything. Mainly because if you know her past, you know that she has done things like cut herself, eating disorders and many other attention grabbing things. Her own father said she had a history of mental problems and irratic behavior.
So don’t assume that everything a person puts out there as “good” really come from good intentions. If Angie really cared about disinfrancised children, she would be in New Orleans with her beau or getting her hands dirty with all the inner city kids suffering right here were she lives.

I don’t care whether AJ got her kids from US or Saturn–the problem I have is what is she doing to these kid’s sense of normalacy and psychially to herself. She should either quit movies or her ambassador work–no wonder she was skinny late last year. Besides her mother passing away, perhaps her early stage of pregnancy making her feel unwell, she’s juggling too many things–& now comes this baby–or babies; heard she’s pregnant with twins. How many kids is this woman going to have? She hooked up with pitt 05 and between then and now 3 MORE kids? And is the lifestyle these kids mentally beneficial. There’s the ‘razzi following them everywhere, AJ carting her little ones to this and that place and last but not least how these kids get used to a routine let alone one another, when in comes another sibling? Big families are a blessing. I’m happy for Brad and Angelina. I just wish the couple would settle down a little and give their kids a little bit more of a stable environment. I understand philanthropy is important to Brad and Angelina, but they should consider their kids too.
hey you guys.. your just jealous because you cant have children of your own maybe.. you should all be happy that they just plan to stick together and have more kids and be a role model parents, instead of just marrying and then divorcing afterwards..
