Scott Baio opens up about losing a daughter.

How sad!
ET sat down with Scott Baio and his wife Renee Sloan earlier this week, in an interview to air today, Thursday, January 10th.
The couple welcomed a baby girl in December, but revealed to ET that they were originally expecting twins. Baio recalls the day he found out, “She told me, ‘we’re having twins,’ and I went down on the floor.” He says the news came at an emotional time, just after he learned that his father had passed away, “I was emotionally shot.”
Baio recalled the night the couple lost one of the babies, “We were lying in bed and there was a problem so we rush to the hospital and the doctor looks at her and says, ‘I’m sorry, you’re miscarrying.’ Last year was a rough, very rough year.” Sloan adds, “I was on bed rest for nine weeks trying to keep the other baby, then we had her five weeks early. It was an emotional rollercoaster.”

That is weird, I have never heard of anyone losing one of the twins. Never.

I think it’s pretty common in IVF situations to lose one and keep one.

It’s actually very common, I know of several women who conceived twins naturally to lose one and not the other.
