Jamie Spears is devastated at Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy news
Britney isn’t the only Spears surprised by Jamie Lynn’s pregnancy.
Their father Jamie is “furious” with Jamie Lynn and ex-wife Lynne for selling the story of her pregnancy to OK! magazine, a source close to the family tells Usmagazine.com.
Jamie Lynn and Lynne broke the news to OK! – infamous for multi-million dollar payouts to celebrities – for an unspecified amount.
“He put his foot down and refused to take any money and ‘profit off of his children,’” the source says. “Lynne didn’t care.”
Jamie is “devastated” by the news, says the source. He’s “extremely depressed” and “feels Jamie Lynn ruined her life.”

Yes she is a bad mom! Her 16 year old child who is LIVING with a 19 yr old man becomes pregnant and she sells the story to a tabloid? Wow, no wonder her kids have problems. Why not just ask for privacy and be there for her daughters when they need her most??
I still dont get why JamieLynn was living with her boyfriend in the first place. A 16 year old should not be on their own. This whole situation is sickening and sad. I hope the boy gets arrested, and Lynn wises up and starts acting like a caring mother so Jamielynn can give her self and her child a fighting chance.

Is she a bad mother? What a ridiculous question. The worst. This family is so screwed. There’s no fixing them. No amount of money can make up for what their lives have become.

Morgan, I agree with the mother part, but having the boy arrested when the parents or at least the mother obviously condoned the relationship is ridiculous. What good does it do to have a father in jail whose only crime was hormonal overload at a young age when he was obviously given permission to sleep with the girl. The mother is just as responsible for this.

Jamie Lynee lives with her mom; he is just always over and seems to have too much free time- he sits and waits for her while she films?!? He sounds more like a parent than her own mom who condoned her pregnancy by profiting off of it. Maybe Lyne would approve (and profit again) if JL had a quickie Vegas wedding like her sis. Good role models!

Honestly this is a sad situation… but you cant completely blame the mother… in this day and age young women (children) are having sex… and they know full on the concequences… the problem is that they have no one to run to. If Jamie Lynn was to go to her mom and ask for birthcontrol yall would be all over her for condoning sex… but we all know a teenager is going to do what they want… NO MATTER WHAT!!!
Education is the key to this nations underage pregnancy problem… and no one is stepping up to the plate.

while its true that teens will have sex no matter what its up to the parents to raise them into adulthood and offer guideance. JaimeLynn was in the spotlight at such a young age, that has to mess with a kid. Parents should be even more protective in that situation. Maybe it is because of their Christian belifs, maybe Lynn didnt explain Birth Control to her children because she figured that good christian girls wait till marriage. 16 is old enough to know the consequences of Sex, but with all the freedom JL has, all the money, and those pesky teen hormones this was bound to happen.
It still amazes me that ANY teen becomes pregnant. Im 27 and have managed to NOT get myself knocked up. Its really not that difficult.

He is furious about selling the story, but is he going to pay for all the expenses of the baby?. She is just 16 . He should have thought about these things before.When your teenagers are sexually active ,there is a lot of chance for unwanted pregnancies.

Serious issues allowing your thirteen year-old to date, have a “long term” boyfriend, or your sixteen year-old to live with a man. More bad judgement not having the boy over for dinner and explaining to the young couple about birth control, STDs, statuatory rape laws, effects of teen pregnancies or the end of her career just being caught with the boy. Stupidity telling the press that your teen was a “good Christian”.
However, I can’t fault them for taking the money. Ms. Spear’s career is over, she is pregnant, and the father is nineteen. Time to do what is best for the baby. The kids need money to live for the next few years until someone gets a job – and pizza delivery doesn’t cut it. Swallow your pride and look after yourselves and kid. First smart move I’ve seen.

okay i think she is a really bad mother and no one is going to take her advice after what happened to jamie lynn and brittney which is a pretty sick and sad situation and i think she should not get pregnant tell she knows she will take care of the baby instead of killing it!whoever does these things should be arrested it is a big asult and should be taken to the cops. she should abortion this baby in tell she knows she can take care of the next one at a good age and now everyone knows about her pregnacy and they should try there best to continue with there show “zoey101″that was a top show and now it is ruined over under age prenancy which is a serious situation!
