Bachelorgate still not over…

In a dramatic rose ceremony on the November 19 finale of The Bachelor, Texas bar owner Brad Womack, 35, said goodbye to both of the show’s finalists: real estate agent DeAnna Pappas, 25, and Phoenix Suns dancer Jenni Croft, 27.
Now Womack tells Us the real reason he let both ladies go.
“DeAnna and I had something that’s pretty special. But I did not see this crazy love that would turn into a lifetime,” says the still-single Womack. “I’m still looking for the same things that I said all along — a best friend, a life-long partner and someone to fall madly in love with.”
He tells Us that honesty was his policy: “I didn’t want to lead anybody on. I was very honest with both of the ladies about that.”
Personally, I think he did the right thing. At least he ended it right away, and didn’t string anyone along. PLUS: I hate the fact that most of these bachelor couples have all been publicity stunts for ABC. I like that Brad’s keepin it real. (Yes, I did just say keepin it real.)

Yeah, but why go on the show? The point is to get to know the person?
