Her eyes are too small and she is unusual looking. I feel sorry for her. It must be awful to have a pretty mom and handsome dad and to look so unfortunate. It is the same thing with other celebs. Vanessa Williams and her daughters come to mind. They are not attractive in the least and she is beautiful. Sad for the children…

These are children you’re talking about. A baby and a teenager. It’s one thing to bash a skinny skeletor purposely starving herself for vanity, or a media whore snorting coke in a public bathroom, or someones botched boob job.
But to trash a young girl, who is still growing into her features, or a baby who hasn’t even grown past your knees and say she is fugly (this is genetics people – you can’t control what you look like) …. that is shallow. You wouldn’t say that a child with a birth defect is ugly, so why is it okay to say that about a baby less than a year old, or a young girl with the strong and beautiful features of her parents? So what, maybe she’s a little awkward, how many of you didn’t have an awkward period – do you remember how it sucked to be teased – shit that was on a local level, you didn’t have people taking about how fugly you are all over the internet.
Oh, and it’s one thing to have that private conversation in w/a close friend, but this is a public forum – who knows – maybe this kind of stuff will be available to Violet when she’s 10, 11, 12, next thing you know you’ve got another young girl going to extremes to fit the current mold of ‘hollywood beauty.’ All because a bunch of people couldn’t be civilized in their public conversation. Maybe it’s that group mentality thing … ‘enough of us think she’s ugly, so it’s okay – lighten up.’
But if you can’t control yourself enough to not trash a child, to call her fugly is like the pot calling the kettle black. Anonymity and majority opinion doesn’t make something wrong, right.

Alice is right. You can’t take anything seriously on a goss sight. The day you start trying to carry on a serious conversation in a place like this is the day you got lost while looking for a serious place to chat. And, the only thing wrong with the young woman is a bad choice in haircut and the camera angles. Her chin is a stronger feature a little overwhelming for her female face. Other than that I think she looks pretty. Her eyes are a winning feature. They have a beautiful color and a strikingly beautiful shape.

I like your blog, but I really dislike seeing personal attacks with respect to someones looks. It’s just mean. It’s one thing if you’re making fun of their makeup or clothing choice, but making fun of their features is low. Being a teen is hard enough. Imagine finding this type of post about yourself? Ugh.

Well, I’m certainly not lost. I also don’t come here expecting to find serious conversation and normally I wouldn’t write a lengthy and serious comment – but Jocelyn did pose the question of why people get bent out of shape.
Probably was a rhetorical question, but I felt compelled to answer, because I understand why. I’m allowed to my opinion, regardless of how serious or out of place it may be on this website – otherwise the link would be called “click here to agree with me” rather than “comment.”
It’s my opinion that calling a baby fugly is not gossip.

Personally speaking, these sites are for entertainment, being opinionated in positive or negative ways… is freedom of speech. For those who are upset about other people’s negative opinions.. why not just concentrate on writing something positive, instead of bashing others? That way… everyone has a say.

I think she is very pretty, just the wrong hairstyle for her. When her hair is past her shoulders and straight it looks sooooooooo much better. The short thing worked well for the moment with Demi, but her features are different. The short hair makes Rumers chin look very long and everything else,(her best features), appear very small. Stay with the long Rumer!:-)

Actually, she isn’t THAT bad. It isn’t like she is deformed or has any strange growths. Her eyes are gorgeous. Her nose is cute. She has a nice smile and lips. Her jaw is just a bit large and she needs her hair to be about that length and cut properly to draw attention from her jaw to some of her better features. Some photos of her are nice if taken from the right angle.

Rumer has a unique exotic beauty about her, she has a symmetrical face, flawless skin, strong cheekbones and jawline, wonderful cat like eyes with perfect eyebrows, a beautifully sculped nose, pretty lips, teeth and a great smile. I think she is exquisite.

I think anyone with the wrong haircut can look a little off kilter. Rumer is not ugly; she just needs a better stylist if she’s going to be in the public eye. A longer, face-framed cut would add a little contour to her face. Strategic layers of blush would give her cheekbones. Last but not least, women with small eyes should NEVER wear eyeliner on the inner rim. It only exaggerates the problem.

If this girl actually “makes it” in H-wood then all is lost. It means that anybody with the right connections & money can get famous.

I think it is SOOOOO OBVIOUS why Rumer is a “red carpet star” – HELLO……if her last name was Wilson she’d be laughed out of Hollywood and I am sure ther are snickers galore (but who cares – mum and dad have a “name” so Rumer can be as ugly as sin and be “someone” with no college education, no talent,and no looks, either.) It is clear as day that Miss Rumer seems to believe she is hot, hot hot – but she really is a nobody who has achieved nothing on her own but has ridden upon her parents’ $$$$$$$$$$$$$ (coattails) and fame. Anyone intelligent and educated and with eyes that function (I have a Ph.D, actually) can see this girl is homely as they come; when I first saw a photo of her with her mother, I thought the girl had Downs’ Syndrome or was Hydrocephelic. (a condition of water on the brain where the recipient has an oddly huge head, small eyes and resembles a mongoloid of sorts.) She also has a series of black moles, an oddly pointed nose – and when she appeared as ‘Miss Golden GLobe” a few years ago I first saw a photo without realizing who she was and thought “ugh – that girl is not very attractive at all – she obviously is SOMEBODY’S daughter and they got her the job; could they have not selected someone pleasant to look at?”
I have seen Rumer’s film work and snickered at that – as I’ve said, no talent, no looks…..btw – her sisters are not particularly stunning, either, but then again, while Demi Moore is cute, she has had her share of work done over the years. But ….all told; Demi was always a “10″ in comparison to poor ugly Rumer.
