The 49-year-old wife of Antonio Banderas was shocked when she was approached to promote age-defying makeup because she felt too young.
Melanie told Hello magazine: “I remember when Revlon asked me to represent their age-defying makeup, Age-defying? I was 34-years-old! I thought, ‘What are you talking about, age-defying? I still look 28.’ ”
The ‘Working Girl’ star hopes her career will not start to falter when she hits 50. She said: “In Hollywood you go from being a sex symbol to a grandmother overnight. After you turn 30 you’re on your way.
“Hopefully that is changing. I don’t think normal people feel that way. Maybe 50 should be the new 30 – that would be better. I got offered a couple of movies recently and they said I can still play 40. “I don’t really care so much anymore, I like the knowledge that I have.”

Melanie, wake up, you look sixty in this photo. It’s okay to have wrinkles (can’t you seem them every morning?). There is no way anyone can miss them, learn to live girl …….. make the commercial and at least you can get some money to get a facelift to get rid of some of the wrinkles.

Is she kidding? This bitch aged so fast and furious I’d be surprised if her tattoos didn’t have wrinkles. If I saw she and Antonio together and didn’t know any better I’d be prepared to swear that he was her son. Meanshile, Andy McDowell looks half Melanie’s age and doesn’t seem to have any problem shilling L’Oreal fountain of youth creams for beaucoup bucks

She has wrinkles, so what is she so upset about? Anyway, don’t they advise some people to start wearing anti-age products from the time they hit thirty, especially if they have dry skin? The idea is to prevent the wrinkles not just to treat them.
And Lily White, even Jane Fonda and Sophia Loren look better than Melanie does right now, and they’re certainly not half her age.

How can a dead career slow down? When was the last time she did anything that could be considered a career move? She should suck it up and at least start using the anti-aging products for her own sake.

I can’t believe she thinks she looks 40 !!!!! Women should not have to apologize for looking older. Like it is ever an issue with men. Gain life experience and wisdom is very sexy. So what if there are some life line’s with it? We never make any kind of deal when men get older, we say they look distinguished. We need to be that fair to women. There’s too much pressure on all of us to look “perfect” It’s killing us !!!!!!

Melanie looks right rough…she DID that shit to herself…the lips are ridic because they are not natural and she has very thin wrinkly skin..I bet is true that AJolie realy had sex when they did that movie together…I believe it…Mel unfortunately looks like hell…older, way older than 49…yikes
