Brad Renfro Told Cousin He Wanted to Marry His Son’s Mother
Brad Renfro’s friend and on-off girlfriend Samantha Pearson spoke to the actor just 12 hours before he was found dead.
“At 11:45 p.m., he was drunk. The last thing I said to him was, ‘Please be careful,’” she tells Us Weekly in the latest issue, on newsstands now.
“He seemed happy, laughing, joking,” she told Us.
The morning after, on January 15, the 25-year-old was found dead in his apartment, the victim of a “possible overdose,” according to the L.A. County coroner, following a night of heavy drinking mixed with anti-anxiety medication.
In a cruel twist, the actor – best-known for starring in 1994’s thriller The Client – seemed to have finally turned the corner on his recent drug problems (a past abuser of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and alcohol, he
had a stint in rehab and legal woes).Renfro’s roommates let him live with them rent-free to help him stay off drugs and a week before his death he visited his family in Knoxville, Tennessee. “In other years, we had to babysit him,” his cousin Jesse Hasek told Us. “This time, he was like, ‘I’ve got it figured out.’ It was the happiest I’ve seen him.”
In Knoxville, Renfro glowed about his 4-year-old son, Yamato, who lives in Japan full-time with his mom. (Yamato was “unplanned,” Hasek told Us, and his mother is “a friend he had over there.”)
“He asked me, ‘Do you think I should marry her? I like the feeling of family,’” Hasek recalled. “It crushed Brad that his kid lived on the other side of the world. He was saying, ‘I should bring them over permanently and be a part of their lives.’”

how can it “crush” someone that they had a unplanned kid over on the other side of the world anyway? i know a person who went around knocking up a few women and getting them pregnant especially a japanese girl that he wanted to bring over while he was still married to my friend’s mom at the time. that guy’s nothing but a whoremonger he shouldve learned to use protection or at least have a fricking vasectomy if he didnt want a kid. wake up brad. oops, srry URE DEAD. hope the same goes for ur kid and that ho u knocked up.

How on earth can you write such trash about someone who was kind , loving , honest and respectful to others , Yes it was unplanned but he took responsibility in what he did . and He loved his son . I remember the day he found out he was going to be a father he was very excited and happy about it . but shocked like most men are when they find things like that out . He wanted to make things right for his son and his sons mother . so if you have problems with him respecting and loving his son then I think its more then anything you have issues you need to address . Brad wasnt a whore and he wasnt a mindless person that didnt care . He was responsible and loving and just cause you never knew the real brad doesnt give you any right to judge who he was .
as for wanting a CHILD TO DIE AND HER MOM are you mentally insane lady I mean seriously you need some kinda help . thats above and beyond stupid . and for just saying something like that you seriously should check into a ward and soon .

foR Your info.. he has never been married and she isn’t a hoe… and brad is awesome and saved and with Jesus.. So don’t be being mean about him cause he was wonderful and awesome=)and Faith is so right and you need some med. for yo problems hoe !! and Brad most certainly not a man whore or whatever.. he was a great man who made mistakes but since your perfect you can judge right??
