U.S. officials fear singer Beyonce Knowles’ passport has been improperly accessed, making her the latest celebrity to be targeted by crooks.

The government has launched an investigation into claims that many famous U.S. stars have fallen victim to illegitimate snooping, with the internal state department declaring that 127 celebrities have had their personal details illegally accessed.

Other victims include model Anna Nicole Smith and presidential candidates John McCain and Barack Obama.

Investigators took a sample list of 150 stars and found that 127 of them had suffered an invasion of privacy, with Knowles’ passport file said to have been accessed more than 100 times.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has issued an apology over the security breaches.

Mark Ronson has hit out at British music magazine NME in a row over his recent Glastonbury performance - labelling the people who work there “morons”.

Ronson was infuriated after he received an email from a reporter at the publication denying responsibility for a scathing review of his set at the legendary English festival on June 29th.

And the music-maker, who was only alerted to the negative article by the message, is shocked at the magazine’s attitude.
He has posted the reporter’s email on his website and is now vowing to sell his recent NME award on the internet.

He writes on his Myspace.com blog, “I got the following email from a journalist at the NME in reference to what I imagine was a scathing review of my Glasto performance (if only I read the mag, I might know what it said….oh well). My NME award for 2008’s best international solo artist will be on eBay as soon as the morons send it to me. I doubt the bidding will go that high and it makes an excellent doorstop.”

Actor-rocker Rhys Ifans has penned a bitter ballad – prompting speculation that it describes his heartbreaking split from Sienna Miller.

The song, called “Stonefinger,” appears on an upcoming album by Ifans’s band, The Peth, which has been touring Wales in the weeks since he and Miller, 26, broke up.

The lyrics are certainly poignant: “Every little thing you said would break me/All of it came true/Every bit of love I give you mock it/Yes you do.” And it goes on, “Every little thing I do you hate it/Oh yes you do.”

Since her split from the 39-year-old Ifans, Miller has been linked to millionaire Balthazar Getty and fellow actor Matthew Rhys.

A rep for the band refused to confirm that “Stoneginger” is about Miller. “The song was written months ago – you can draw your own conclusions over who it was written about,” he told People. The spokesman added, “This was [penned] way prior to the split that’s being alluded to.”

Work on the album, The Golden Mile, began six months ago. The band performs in London later this week.

Matthew McConaughey and his girlfriend are “elated” after the birth of their first child, a baby boy.

Brazilian model Camila Alves gave birth to a seven pound, four ounce son at 6.22pm in Los Angeles on Monday night, the actor’s representative Alan Nierob confirms to People.com.

In a statement to OK! magazine, McConaughey says, “Camila and I were side by side the entire time. We are both tired and elated, and are so happy to have created the greatest miracle in the world - having a child and making a family. Now comes the greatest adventure - raising one, together.”

He announced the news he and Alves were expecting on his official website in January.

Drew Barrymore and Justin Long have broken up, her rep confirms to People.

“I can confirm the split with no additional comment,” said the spokesperson.

Barrymore, 33, and Long, 30, were first linked in August of last year, when they were spotted at the Los Angeles hotspot the Chateau Marmont.

By November, the pair – who costar together in He’s Just Not That Into You – were getting serious. They spent a PDA-packed holiday in Connecticut, including Thanksgiving with Long’s family in his hometown of Fairfield.

In the following months, the couple seemed inseparable, partying in Vegas, celebrating Barrymore’s birthday with Cameron Diaz in Los Angeles and hiking in Hollywood.

In the March issue of Vogue, Barrymore said of the relationship, “My cheeks hurt, I’m so happy.”

Long, appearing with Barrymore on The Oprah Winfrey Show, described her as “the most compassionate person I’ve ever met.”

Barrymore and Long recently celebrated his birthday in Michigan, where they are both currently filming projects.
