Last weed we got our first look at Tom Cruise’s cover of W Magazine. Now, we’re getting a look inside the magazine that features a highly tattooed and shirtless Tom Cruise, posing as his character Stacee Jaxx in ‘Rock of Ages’.

In the photo shoot, she poses with some blonde groupies. There are some NSFW pictures from the shoot which you can see here. Call me crazy, but I just find these pictures weird. It’s like I know that’s the crazy Tom Cruise in the pictures – not Stacee Jaxx, trying to be all sexy. I wouldn’t call Tom sexy. I’m not sure what I’d call him – but sexy isn’t one of them.

Tom explains in the interview why his character in ‘Rock of Ages’ is so serious. He didn’t want to come off as a cartoonish character from the Broadway musical.

Why Tom’s Stacee Jaxx is so serious “I didn’t want to imitate all these other rock stars. He had to be unique. If the audience doesn’t immediately buy into his absolute greatness, there’s no movie journey. Without that, you have nothing. Kate loves musicals. She sings and dances, and we kind of went through the history of musicals together. And Suri loved Hairspray. I thought Adam Shankman did a great job directing the movie, so I arranged to meet him and said, ‘Where’s our musical?’ He came back and said, ‘Rock of Ages.’ We went and saw it in L.A., and for me, I didn’t know how to play the character like that. I had to find my own Stacee Jaxx.”

Stacee’s monkey was Tom’s idea: “I needed to find out if I could really sing! And then I had to learn how to play guitar. I’m very good at air guitar and air drums, but I had never played an actual guitar. After working for weeks on Stacee’s technical skills, I was thinking about the character, and I said, ‘You know what? I need a monkey.’ Adam said, ‘What the f&#* are you talking about?’ And I said, ‘I’m serious, I need a monkey.’ When Stacee’s not onstage, he’s kind of sad. And I thought, This guy has to have a monkey that’s his best friend. Adam found this baboon. He sent me the baboon’s audition tape, and I said, ‘The baboon’s name has to be Hey Man. Stacee Jaxx doesn’t work without Hey Man.’”

Tom loved to dance as a teenager: “You know what? I did the scene from Risky Business around the house. I would sing Bob Seger‚ my mother worked, my sisters were out, and I’d turn the music up. I learned how to dance watching SoulTrain. I noticed that if a guy could dance, he’d get a lot of attention and girls would want to dance with him. I worked very hard at imitating those moves.”

I am excited to see this movie, even if it’s going to be painfully full of cheese. I just hope it turns out better than Adam Shankman’s hot mess, ‘Hairspray’. You can see more pictures – and read more from the interview at the  W site.

Tom Cruise covers W Magazine’s June issue. And not just any Tom Cruise, a makeup-wearing, tattooed and shirtless Tom Cruise. On the cover he’s promoting his new role as Stacee Jaxx in his upcoming movie, ‘Rock of Ages’. I have always loved Tom, heck, I even like his bad movies. I think the fact that he’s in ‘Rock of Ages’ gives me hope that the movie isn’t going to suck (as bad as I think it might). As for Tom’s character, Stacee Jaxx, here’s what was said in the interview: “I knew we had to push the sexuality because of the nature of the character and the songs. He’s singing, ‘I want to know what love is.’”

Her rep denies it, but Katie Holmes might be hiding something...

Suri Cruise, 6,  was overheard asking Holmes, 33, ”if her baby sister was in Katie’s tummy” during a New York City visit to Newsies on Broadway.  Katie whispered something into little Suri’s ear, but we don’t know what! Other sources say that Katie is “struggling to contain the news,” and absolutely thrilled about another child, which will bring her family even closer.

Tom Cruise, 49, has two adopted children with ex-wife Nicole Kidman: Isabella, 19, and Connor, 17.  Though reps in the Cruise/Holmes camp are denying the pregnancy, some sources refute this.  It’s media versus celeb- who do you believe?

Suri is getting so big!

I’m kind of surprised Katie and Tom Cruise didn’t have more children. Of course they still can, I’m just surprised they haven’t yet! Tom seems very baby-crazy.

If anyone was in doubt about Tom Cruise’s box office draw, they can rest assured that the man has still got it.  Deadline Hollywood reports that ‘Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol‘ is officially Tom’s highest grossing film ever!

Today, the film will reach a global gross of $603 million, making Ghost Protocol the highest-grossing film of Cruise’s long career. It surpassed any film that Cruise made during his long relationship with Paramount, beating the $591.7 million gross turned in by War Of The Worlds. Cruise has starred in five of Paramount’s top 10 grossing films in the last 15 years, with M:I4 falling in behind Titanic‘s $1.8 billion, Indiana Jones And The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull‘s $786.6 million, Forrest Gump‘s $677.4 million, and Iron Man 2‘s $623 million. The film has a strong chance to pass the Iron Man sequel. Studio insiders tell me that the film crosses the $400 million mark internationally today, and has already grossed $36 million in China after being released six days ago. We’ve seen how much Cruise put into the film as an actor — running up and down the Dubai skyscraper was something no star outside of Jackie Chan would do. Beyond, that, he spent 16 days promoting the film, covering nine countries on six continents.

Good for him.  Say what you want about his personal life, his religion, and all that – the man can act. He has the charisma and the acting chops to pull off just about any character and can carry a film like no other!

This has to be the funniest eBay listing I’ve heard of in a long while!  Remember when Tom Cruise was busy filming ‘Rock of Ages’ in Miami this summer?  We saw Tom and wife Katie Holmes hanging at the hotel pool a lot with their daughter Suri.  Well, one enterprising eBay’er was also at that pool and is trying to make a little profit on his well-timed vacation.

“For sale is a 4 oz. glass bottle containing water taken from a pool in which Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes swam in with daughter Suri… There is a very limited supply of this special water.  The winning bidder will receive a 5×7 print of Tom swimming in the pool with Katie Holmes by his side as a certificate of authenticity. The print is made from the original image taken by the photographer and collector of the water.”

And this is my favorite part:

“Tom Cruise water can be used in rituals, potions, or perfumes. It can be dabbed behind the ears or on the wrists for good luck. You can place some of it around the hearth of your  home or baptize your baby with it for all I care!”

Hurry to eBay! Bidding starts at $100!  Hahaha!  I seriously want to know how the seller managed this without the hotel questioning what the heck he was up to!
