VIDEO: Sacha Baron Cohen spills ashes all over Ryan Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet!

Sacha Baron Cohen may have been the only exciting and/or interesting thing that happened during last night’s Oscars. The comedian shamelessly promoted his new movie ‘The Dictator’ while walking the red carpet. He spilled an urn full with fake ashed of Kim Jong Il all over Ryan Seacrest on live television.

At least Ryan has a good sense of humor about the whole thing.

Sacha Baron Cohen’s character responds to being banned from the Oscars.

Oh my gosh, Sacha Baron Cohen is hilarious!!

After it was reported yesterday that the comedian was banned from walking the Oscars red carpet on Sunday, the Acadamy Awards released a statement saying that it wasn’t true at all. Cohen is supposed to attend the awards show to promote his other film, ‘Hugo’ which is up for Best Picture.

Whatever the Academy’s decision, however, it was only a matter of time before Cohen General Aladeen responded to the “ban.” Obviously, he was not pleased.

“On behalf of the nation of Wadiya, I am outraged at being banned from the Oscars by the Academy of Motion Pictures of Arts and Zionists,” exclaimed Aladeen. “While I applaud the Academy from taking away my right to free speech, I warn you that if you do not lift your sanctions and give me my tickets back by 12 p.m. on Sunday, you will face unimaginable consequences.”

Aladeen also makes an effort to campaign for some of Wadiya’s “classic” films that didn’t receive any Oscar recognition: “When Harry Kidnapped Sally,” “You’ve Got Mailbomb” and “Planet of the Rapes.” (Actually, there’s a good chance that second one is better than the original Tom Hanks/Meg Ryan flick.)

Anyway, whether Aladeen’s consequences refer to him kidnapping Uggie (please, no) remain to be seen. Whatever the case, both Cohen and Aladeen are getting a nice chunk of publicity out of this whole thing.

“The Dictator,” starring Cohen and Ben Kingsley, will hit theaters May 11.

I can’t wait to see it!

Sasha Baron Cohen and Anna Farris film a scene for “The Dictator” in Manhattan!

Anna Faris plays the female lead in “The Dictator,” Sacha Baron Cohen’s film about a Hussein-like dictator who gets secretly replaced by a lookalike goat herder and now must find new meaning in a life in New York City. The movie, which is inspired by “Zabibah and the King,” a book about a benevolent dictator that was revealed to be written by Hussein himself, will feature the “Borat” star as both the dictator and herder, and Farris as the NYC organic store owner who opens his eyes to new possibilities.

Reese Witherspoon Gets Married!

Reese Witherspoon wed boyfriend Jim Toth at her Ojai, California ranch Saturday evening!

US Weekly has the details!

In a courtyard in front of the Ojai house, the Monique Lhuillier-clad actress, 35, and CAA agent Toth, 40, exchanged vows and William Goldberg wedding bands beneath a canopy.

About 120 family members and friends– including Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Renee Zellweger, Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McConaughey and love Camila Alves, Alyssa Milano, Colin Hanks, Isla Fisher and hubby Sacha Baron Cohen– were on hand for the bash.

Reverend Jimmy Bartz, of the Santa Monica church regularly attended by the couple, officiated the 20-minute service, and Witherspoon’s children (with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe) Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, participated in the ceremony.

Matron of honor duties went to Witherspoon’s best friend Heather Rosenfield, whose little boys served as ring bearers; the star’s nieces were flower girls.

In a fitting turn for the Southern-born actress, a bluegrass band played “Tennessee Waltz” as the processional music for Toth and the kids, segueing to “Here Comes the Bride” for Witherspoon’s walk, and playing “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” during the ceremony.

Immediately following the “I do” exchange, guests retreated to a one-hour cocktail party behind the house.

The special night’s theme? Rustic, farm-style, of course! (At her bucolic Ojai spread, Witherspoon gardens and keeps horses, donkeys, pigs, goats and chickens.) The outdoor decor included lanterns and chandeliers hanging from trees, mismatched antique chairs and distressed benches set throughout the property, a wood plank dance floor, antique leather sofas, jute rugs, wago wheels and Turkish textile pillows.

Different arrangements of white, blush and lavender flowers were set up on each table in mason jars, fish catcher lanterns and antique pots. And large moss-covered pots with lavender were set up all over the estate.

When it was time for dinner, guests sat down at long tables in a fabric-lined tent behind the house. On the menu, catered by L.A. eatery Lucques: endive salad with olives and fava beans; wild striped bass with? potatoes, chanterelles and garlic; mustard grilled chicken with haricort vert and herb roasted lamb with braised artichokes. For dessert? A grand wedding cake designed by Erica O’Brien, a separate table of sweet treats — and a s’mores lounge!

After the meal, guests boogied on the dance floor to DJ-spun tunes. When it was time to call it a night, revelers departed clutching gift bags with pecan currant scones from a local baker.

Says a pal of the couple, who began dating in January 2010: “They feel like they’ve hit the jackpot in this relationship!”

Isla Fisher looking adorable at the Berlin premiere of ‘Rango’

I love Isla Fisher. She’s so stinkin cute – even if she is pint-sized!

Staying so thin is a struggle, according to what she’s told US Weekly.

“I don’t know. I’m just trying my best,” said the mother of two and wife of comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. Daughter Olive is 3, and Fisher just gave birth to her second daughter — whose name has not yet been released — 6 months ago.

Getting rid of the baby weight has been tough work. “I used to say that I could eat anything I wanted and it was true and now I can tell you that I can’t eat whatever I want.”

Also pictured is child-actress Abigail Breslin. Although, she’s not such a child anymore! She looks grown up all of a sudden! She’ll turn 15 in April.

Sacha Baron Cohen signs on to play Saddam Hussein in new comedy

Sacha Baron Cohen, the comedian who brought us ‘Borat’ and ‘Bruno’ has signed on to play Iraqi president Saddam Hussein. Sounds like it won’t be controversial at all!

Cohen is set to star in a comedy inspired by a book thought to be written by Hussein titled ‘Zabibah and the King,’ BBC reports. The book was a best-seller in Iraq back in 2000.

Paramount Pictures joked that the film would “tell the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.” Writers Alec Berg, Jeff Schaffer and David Mandel, who all work for ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm,’ have been signed on to write the script.

The film, titled ‘The Dictator,’ is scheduled to be released in theaters May 11, 2012. It will be directed by Larry Charles, who has worked with Cohen on both ‘Bruno’ and ‘Borat.’

Cohen married actress Isla Fisher in March 2010. Fisher converted to Judaism so that she and Cohen could raise their child, born in summer of 2010, in the Jewish faith.

Cohen has also been the center of several lawsuits for his over-the-top characters’ real-life interactions.
