Rihanna tweeted the photo above, with the caption: “Where have you been all my life?”which is a reference to a lyric in her song ‘Where Have You Been.’ The song will be her second single off her new album, ‘Talk That Talk.’

She later tweeted that the photo above is from the video set! She posted: “Video shoot goin MAJAH!!! Longest day everrrrr tho!!! #WHEREhaveUbeen #stillgoin.”

Rihanna left her London hotel in a pair of spike studded denim shorts and super thigh-high black leather boots.  They don’t look sharp, but still too pokey for me!

Rihanna is reportedly on among a few names on the shortlist of talent who is being considered to play Whitney Houston in a biopic of the late singer’s life.

Whitney’s record label boss, and close friend Clive Davis, is apparently helming the project, and is trying to get a script finalized as soon as possible.

According to Daily Mail, Rihanna is at the top of the list, alongside ‘Dreamgirls’ actress Jennifer Hudson.

Other people on the list are Vivica Fox and Jordin Sparks.

Although movie executives are hoping Riri will sign up for the film, the Talk That Talk singer already turned down the chance to remake Houston’s The Bodyguard last year.

She told OK! magazine: ‘I hate it when singers do singing movies all the time, because you can never look at them as anybody else. I want to play a character. My whole life is playing Rihanna; being a singer won’t be a stretch for me.’
The superstar’s life story had been discussed before her death and the I Will Always Love You singer was excited about the project.

A source told the People newspaper: ‘Whitney knew about the project and was excited to see where it would lead.

‘It’s hoped the biopic will be as successful as Tina Turner movie What’s Love Got To Do With It, which landed two Oscar nominations for Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne who played Tina and Ike Turner.’

Whitney, who was found dead in a bath in the Beverly Hilton, is said to have claimed that she was beaten up by the devil during drug binges.

Her former sister-in-law, Tina Brown, told the Daily Star Sunday: ‘She was always convinced that demons were out to get her when she was high.’

Tina, who is the sister of Bobby Brown, added: ‘On one occasion she told me she was staring at the face of the devil himself… but it was her reflection.’

She claimed that Whitney’s legs were black and blue from self harming when high but she believed that Satan was responsible for the wounds.

Tina, who has served time in jail for drug possession, also claimed that Houston would call drug dealers to her home to prolong parties.

She told the newspaper: ‘She’d cut open a cigar, take the tobacco out, put in marijuana and the whole piece of crack and puff away.’

I wonder if Rihanna can even act. Seems like a very big project to guess if she can pull it off.

A source close to American Idol has told E! that producers are in talks with Chris Brown and Rihanna about performing together on the show this season.

“They want Chris and Rihanna to reunite on the show,” the insider says.

If the rumor is true, it will be their first public appearance together since 2009, when Brown was arrested for assaulting Rihanna.

The last time they appeared onstage together was in 2008—and, judging by the controversy kicked up by Brown’s performance (and win) at the Grammys this month, plenty of critics would react harshly to the pair collaborating on stage.

But if this did happen, which song would they do—assuming that the pair’s two just-released remixes would be the likely choices? It’s unlikely they could perform Rihanna’s sexually charged “Birthday Cake,” which may be too risqué for prime time, so maybe they’d do Brown’s “Turn Up the Music”? Or something else entirely?

Rihanna’s rep denied the rumor, saying, “It’s not true.”

But in any case, Fox has not yet approved the pairing, our source tells us, adding that the idea is still in the very early stages of discussion.
The network had no comment.

I will be so upset if the rumors are true. I know a lot of you think I just need to get over this – and move on – but I do not think it’s appropriate for them to be on stage together again. Especially on a family-friendly show like American Idol. Idol is obviously hurting for ratings, and know that this would put a spike of interest in the show.

Here are some new pictures of the ladies from last night’s BRIT Awards in London. They’re basically the Grammys, but overseas. Rihanna took home the international female prize for a second year. Rihanna wore this Givenchy gown, which in my opinion, just makes her look old. I’m not a fan.

Lana Del Rey won the Breakthrough Award. “This award means much more to me than you know,” said the singer. She wore a gorgeous Vivienne Westwood gown. (Can I just add that I love the name Vivienne? What a beautiful name! If I were having any more kids, I’d keep it!)

Adele was again the big winner of the night, taking home the award for Album of the Year and Best British Solo Artist.

“It’s been an amazing year,” Adele said as she received the female artist statuette from petite pop star Kylie Minogue.

“I feel like a drag queen next to you,” joked the winner, who wore a sleek black Burberry gown but towered over Minogue. She thanked her record company “for letting me be the kind of artist I want to be.”

The show’s host, actor James Corden, cut off Adele’s second acceptance speech, prompting the singer to make a rude middle-finger gesture in frustration.

She stressed afterward that it was aimed at industry leaders, not her fans.

“I’m sorry if I offended anyone but it was the suits that offended me,” Adele said. “Thank you all very much and thanks to my fans. I don’t want them to think I was swearing at them.”

The show’s broadcaster, ITV, issued a statement apologizing to Adele for cutting her off.

“We regret this happened and we send deepest apologies to Adele that her big moment was cut short tonight due to the live show over-running,” ITV said.

Florence Welch wore a Alexander McQueen gown. Nicole Scherzinger wore a gorgeous yellow Versace dress. Jessie J wore a revealing red lace Falguni & Shane Peacock dress. Very Gaga-ish if you ask me.

Chris Brown and Rihanna have not only recorded ONE song together, they’ve recorded TWO songs together.

Yesterday afternoon, the former couple both released remixes featuring each other. Chris Brown sang on Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake”, and Rihanna joined in on Chris’s “Turn Up The Music.”

The songs dropped at the same time.

Even though many of us aren’t able to forgive Chris, it’s obvious that Rihanna has. Here are some of the lyrics from their songs. Rihanna sang on Brown’s song the words, “I love you baby,” and Chris singing on “Birthday Cake”: “Girl I wanna f**k you right now. Been a long time, I’ve been missing your body,” only further fuels rumors the two have being seeing each other in secret.
