It’s what he’s been waiting for,” a source tells PEOPLE. “[Getting engaged] is a natural step for them but they’re not in a rush. There’s no deadline, no timetable. But it’s something in the future.”

Reese Witherspoon began work on the romantic comedy This Means War in Vancouver, BC this month.

The movie is about two CIA agents, played by Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, who go to war over the affection of Reese Witherspoon. Chelsea Handler has been cast to play Reese’s best friend in the film! (Chelsea of course made news yesterday when it was reported that she’s dating 50 Cent. Go here for that story!)

Cameron Diaz doesn’t look happy to be back on the set of Bad Teacher in Los Angeles. The normally chipper actress seemed a bit down! Missing boyfriend Alex Rodriguez maybe? While she’s in Los Angeles filming, he’s back in NY playing baseball for the Yankees. After spending a lot of the summer together, they’re both back to work on opposite sides of the country. The couple have been dating for eight months.

Cameron stars opposite ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake in the new comedy. She plays a foul-mouthed junior high teacher who, after being dumped by her rich boyfriend, sets her sights on another teacher, played by Justin.

Cameron Diaz is the second highest earning actress in Hollywood (which shocks me). First place is The Blind Side’s Sandra Bullock. Cameron shares the #2 position with Reese Witherspoon, whom she tied for second place.
