Paris Hilton appeared on ‘Piers Morgan Tonight’ alongside her mother, Kathy, who got emotional as her daughter opened up about her infamous XXX-rated tape that was released in 2004.
“I just felt so betrayed, this was not some random guy, this was someone I was with for a few years,” says Hilton of her ex-boyfriend Rick Soloman, who sold the intimate tape of the heiress.
“Now when people look at me, they think I’m something I’m not, just because of one incident one night, with someone I was in love with,” she said.
“I’ll have to live with that for the rest of my life and explain it to my children,” Hilton continued, while Kathy, sitting next to her, gets visibly upset. “It’s something that changed my life forever.”
Hilton is currently making the publicity rounds to talk about her new Oxygen reality show, ‘The World According to Paris,’ which premieres June 1.
Paris Hilton came under fire last week when ‘Fairly Legal’ star Sarah Shahiwent on a Twitter rage calling Hilton “the worst driver ever” after reportedly almost hitting her. “Paris Hilton- worst driver ever. Almost hit me, then ran a stop sign.what if there was a kid around the corner, you dumb b–ch,” Shahi wrote. Sarah called Paris a “horrible excuse for a human being” and a “blonde piece of sh-t” but added, “I wouldn’t be as pissed if I wasn’t a mom.”
But Paris claims it wasn’t her!
“I was so shocked when I read that, too,” Hilton said of the rumors.
“First of all, I wasn’t even driving that day,” she said. “I just came back from Vegas with my boyfriend — and we were home relaxing. I hadn’t even been in the car that day. I literally came with a driver from the airport went to my house.”
Hilton continued, “Then later on I read that, I’m like ‘Dude, I wasn’t even driving,’ so I don’t know. Maybe it was some other blonde girl who looked like me.”
“There are a lot of Paris Hilton lookalikes, who do it for a living,” she said. “They’re always doing things and I’m getting blamed for it. So this could be another incident like that.”
‘Fairly Legal’ star Sarah Shahi took to her Twitter on Friday after having an almost literal run-in with socialite Paris Hilton.
The actress claims she was nearly run over by Paris on Friday, and expressed her rage on her Twitter.
Paris Hilton—worst driver ever. Almost hit me, then ran a stop sign. What if there was a kid around that corner, you dumb b-tch.
Paris Hilton—horrible excuse for a human being,” Shahi went on to tweet. “What an irresponsible person…what a lame existence. I wouldn’t be as pissed if I wasn’t a mom.
One more thing blonde piece of sh*t- you’re not an elitist just because you have money. You should apologize… To humanity.” nowi’mdone.
Paris was oblivious, however, to Sarah’s rant.
“What a beautiful day in LA today, I love this city,” Hilton tweeted Friday.
Ladies and gentlemen… presenting… a Paris Hilton reality show!
We’ve seen the socialite in ‘The Simple Life’… and we’ve seen her in her ‘BFF’ TV competitions. But this time, the upcoming reality show is strictly about Paris and her life. Period.
“I’m so excited for ‘The World According to Paris’ to be on Oxygen, it’s such a perfect network for the show,” she told Access Hollywood at the Oxygen upfront presentation in New York City on Monday. “It’s about living out loud, being a woman being empowered and just living life to the fullest and that’s what the show’s all about.”
Paris explained that her new show allows fans a real look into her life – including her romance with boyfriend [Cy Waits].
“Definitely this is the first time I’ve ever showed so much on a show. I’ve never let this much access and cameras into my life. So, they’re really gonna get to see everything from my family relationship to my relationship with my boyfriend,” she continued. “I think people are just gonna be surprised to see a Paris that they’ve never seen before. I think everyone is so used to seeing me on the red carpet and kind of the party lifestyle, but in the show they’re gonna get to see what happens behind closed doors when no one’s around. [They’ll] get to see the Paris that my friends and family know.”
Her friends, including Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife Brooke Mueller, will also be featured on the show.
“My mom and Brooke are very close,” Paris told Access. “Brooke’s a good friend of mine too and there’s definitely a lot of drama in the show with her in it.”
Mom Kathy Hilton, who also appears on the new Oxygen series, told Accessthat Paris’ show is “post-modern reality.”
“I guess in art, there is modern art and there is post-modern art, and this show would be post-modern reality, you won’t see anything else like it,” Kathy said. “You’re a fly on the wall, we don’t hold back anything. After four months of timing, you really do get to know the people. And I think that all the characters on the show have something to bring to the table.”
“The World According to Paris” premieres on Oxygen on Wednesday, June 1.
Oh, goodness. Who’s going to watch this show? I can’t lie, but I probably will. Don’t deny it… you know you will too!
