Paris Hilton steps out in Beverly Hills to visit a salon.

Ok, I absolutely adore her dress! It’s so cute! (And I can’t believe I’m saying something nice about Paris, the girl drives me nuts!)

After dating for around a year, Paris Hilton and Cy Waits have decided to split.
“They are broken up,” one pal tells Us of Hilton, 30, and Vegas club owner Waits. “It’s sad, she cares about him a lot and thinks he’s a great guy but they really hit a rough patch.”
Hilton and her rep had no comment.
The reality star and Waits stepped out in late spring 2010, shortly after her final split from former Hills star Douglas Reinhardt. Explains the friend: “[Cy's] found it difficult to live his life with her in the spotlight and that’s what caused their split. No drama, it’s amicable, but things didn’t work out.”
Indeed, life as Hilton’s beau was never low-key: Back in August, Waits was at Hilton’s side when she was arrested for cocaine possession at a traffic stop in Las Vegas. The couple presented a united front this past April, when Waits accompanied Hilton as she testified against an alleged home intruder in an L.A. court. An overzealous fans threw water in Waits’ faced and grabbed him by the neck before Hilton’s security team intervened.
I wonder if this means we’re going to start seeing a lot more of Paris. Whenever she’s dating, she gets very quiet – and you don’t see pictures of her much. But once she’s single – she’s ready to mingle (couldn’t help myself).
I know you all missed seeing her partying and late-night shenanigan’s.

Lookie who showed up alone! Could there be truth to the rumors that she split with boyrfriend Cy Waits?
Or maybe she found someone else?

Paris Hilton’s new Oxygen show ‘The World According to Paris’ isn’t the only thing struggling these days. So is her relationship with longtime boyfriend Cy Waits. He doesn’t like having his relationship played out in the public eye. “He felt that way too much of their private life was shown,” a source says.
“I just think that I sometimes love drama and cause problems to cause drama,” Hilton says. “Maybe because things are so good I try to make it bad, sometimes. I don’t know.”
In her voice over, the heiress gets serious.
“Sometimes when you start to lose something, you begin to realize how much you really want it,” she says. “I love Cy and only Cy and the thought of losing him forever is awful. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make this relationship work. I just hope he feels the same way.”
The two talk about an incident where Hilton stayed out all night. “I just didn’t want to leave the party. It was fun,” at which Waits responds by saying he’d like less drama.
Hilton: “So what do you mean, you want to break up with me?”
And, scene! ‘The World According to Paris’ airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Oxygen.

Paris Hilton’s boyfriend Cy Waits has had enough of having his life played out on a reality show. As a result, sources tell E! Online that the couple are “reevaluating” things.
“Paris loves and respects Cy very much,” a source close to Paris tells me. “He has been through a lot with her. But sometimes it’s hard on the relationship because he’s not used to this lifestyle, the media and being on a show.”
Her Oxygen reality series has been a particularly sore subject for them.
“Cy is very upset with The World According to Paris,” a source says. “He felt that way too much of their private life was shown. When he signed on to do the show, he had no idea the cameras would be so invasive.”
Another issue is Paris’ constant travel and Cy being based in Vegas.
“Cy has a daughter and he’s very protective about keeping her out of the media and wanting her to lead a normal life,” a source close to Cy says.
Despite their problems, he wants to make things work, but the heiress is unsure whether he’s “the one”.
“Sometimes he feels like Paris isn’t ready to take the next step. They both love each other very much and are deciding what to do now.”
Paris is wrapping up a promotional visit to Chicago, while Cy is currently spending time with his daughter in Vegas.

Paris Hilton’s new reality show on Oxygen that she has been heavily promoting for the last month debuted to what sources call “disastrous” ratings. Rather than blame herself and her boring life, Paris is pointing the finger at the network who gave the heiress her own show.
“Paris is furious that the show didn’t premiere at the time it was supposed to,” an insider tells me when speaking about ‘The World According to Paris.’ “She worked her tail off doing promotion and publicity for the show and then because of a technical mistake, the show aired at a completely different time in a lot of markets.”
A representative from the network denies that there were any glitches in her premiere episode.
“The show premiered at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1 as was promoted,” an Oxygen spokesperson told me in a statement. “There were no technical mistakes. We look forward to a very exciting run of the series.”
This week’s episode brings together Paris and Charlie Sheen’s ex, Brooke Mueller, whose ongoing substance abuse struggles will be addressed. The rep said this week’s episode with feature Brooke’s “cry for help.”
Her busy week of promotion also included a rough interview on ‘The View,’ where Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg grilled the socialite on the frivolity of her show. She reportedly flipped out backstage and got into a shouting match with a producer. In short, it was a disaster and she canceled events because of it.
“Paris’ second season on that MTV show where she found a new friend was a disaster and she hasn’t been able to sell a magazine cover since the Kardashians arrived,” a TV insider tells me. “If the numbers remain less then the 400,000 that tuned in last week she could get pulled off the air.”
By comparison, the March debut of singer Aubrey O’Day’s show drew 724,000, and 1.7 million viewers tuned in for the premiere of the most recent installment of ‘The Bad Girls Club.’
“This could be the last nail in the coffin,” a senior marketing manager tells me. “She has been replaced by Teen Moms and Snooki. She would have been better off not doing a new reality show at all then doing one that proves no one cares.”
I didn’t watch the show. In all honesty, I couldn’t care less what Paris is up to. I won’t even waste the space on my DVR. Were you one of the five people who watched it? What did you think?
