Lady Gaga is seen leaving her hotel in London, UK to head to Guy Ritchie’s pub ‘The Punch Bowl’ on October 22, 2014. Lady Gaga was dressed stylishly in a lace dress over a lace bustier as she was given roses by a fan and threw them into the air.
Gaga helped a fan propose to his partner during a recent concert:
The Poker Face hitmaker brought her ArtRave: The Artpop Ball to the Phones 4u Arena in Manchester, and halfway through the gig, she invited her friend Jay, who she described as “family and an incredible man and incredible friend” on to the stage, along with his boyfriend Shaun.
In a video posted by a fan on YouTube.com, Gaga is seen handing over the spotlight to the couple, as Jay gets down on one knee and proposes to Shaun, much to his surprise.
After Shaun says ‘yes’, Gaga serenades the newly engaged couple with her equal rights anthem Born This Way.
She told the audience, “It’s so bizarre, you know, my record label a long time ago they told me that my show is too gay and I was too gay or this was too gay. I told them, ‘Well it’s a great thing that there are gay people all over the world!’ We’re all human beings with real dreams and real stories and you deserve to love and express your love the same as everybody around the world.”
She continued, “I’m pretty sure I don’t have to say this because this is a pretty free-thinking city, but I’m going to f***ing say it anyway. If you are living in the U.K. or in Manchester and whether you are young or old or in the middle, if you are gay hold your head up high and be proud. You don’t have to hide. You’re human.”
She said, “And if anybody here in the audience, I can’t imagine there is, but if anybody here is uncomfortable with this you should probably f***ing go because you’re on the wrong side of history and everybody in here is on the right side.”
She ended her speech by telling the happy couple, “I wish you a beautiful, long and happy life.”
