Lorde and Nick Jonas, you don’t have to be so shy…
The two apparently left Lady Gaga‘s 30th birthday party together on Saturday, looking suspicious AF.
And sure, maybe they were just looking out for the environment by carpooling from No Name Club to their respective places, but man, look at these pics! C’mon.
A little background: since breaking up with her long term New Zealand dude last year, 19-year-old Lorde has been single and also maybe hooking up with Diplo, and 23-year-old Nick has been dating(ish) Kate Hudson since January. I kinda like the idea of these two having a fling-it’s the first somewhat age-appropriate hookup I’ve heard about in a while. Ugh.
What do you think of Lorde and Nick?

I mean, it’s no karaoke at Dave N’ Busters, but I suppose it’ll DO.
Lady Gaga said “Let’s Dance” to her thirties with a huge birthday party that had tons of celebs, a gift made by Michael Jackson and of course, a moment where everybody had to politely listen to Gaga singing her own songs.
The singer turned 30 on Monday and to celebrate, she had a huge shindig at No Name Club in Hollywood. And the guest list was amazingly eclectic including Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, Kate Hudson, Pharrell, Chrissy Teigen & John Legend, Lisa Vanderpump and Kathy Bates …yes, Kathy Bates. And I guess everyone raved about Gaga’s performance, which you can see in this video HERE.
BUT some VERY GOOD FRIEND of Gaga’s showed up with a famous 1990 MJ sketch called, “Dancing Feet.” Michael reportedly made a few of these … one of which sold in 2010 for nearly $25k! And now, Gaga has one of her very own.
She’s got some good friends, doesn’t she?

Dr. Luke does NOT want to hear Kesha‘s praise for Lady GaGa‘s performance of Til It Happens To You. And he’s not being polite about ANY of it.
The Tik Tok singer took to Twitter to send praise Lady Gaga’s way, and the producer (who has been accused by the pop starlet of sexual assault) is vehement that Kesha is NOT a victim. The 42-year-old’s lawyer Christine Lepera shared:
“Ms. Sebert [Kesha], who in sworn videotaped testimony from 2011 stated that she had never been sexually abused or drugged by Dr. Luke is neither a victim nor the appropriate person to be held up as an example for this important issue.”
Lots of A listers, including Adele, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift have rallied around the Die Young performer, who was said that Dr. Luke threatened her into initially lying about the rape allegations.
Dr. Luke’s camp is starting to fight dirty, though. REALLY dirty.
What do YOU think of this complicated situation?

Lady Gaga was out and about in NYC on Wednesday, hitting up all the NY Fashion Week hotspots and taking a break from making David Bowie roll in his grave.
Most notably, she stepped out at Brandon Maxwell’s show at NYFW, chatting with the Daily Beast about her friendship with Maxwell and more. Here are some highlights
Brandon Maxwell went to the Grammys with her: “He was with me before I went on. He was with me when I got off. He dressed me for the rest of the night before he left. He got in the car and came to New York to do his show. I got on a plane right after to meet here. He didn’t drop one ball anywhere. He’s very clear on what he wants, and he’s got that sort of Zen quality about him.”
Whether she would ever branch out into fashion design: “Let me just say now I’m quite happy with him [Maxwell] designing for me and designing for other women. The thing is, at the end of the day, I have a real respect for fashion designers, and it is the reason I don’t have my own line and I probably never will. If I ever do anything in fashion it’s always going to be as a muse or aesthetic creative. I like to be part of helping artists find themselves and feel good about who they are. I would never, for a second, claim to be a proficient fashion designer.”
The other designers she depends on: “I can always depend on [Azzedine] Alaïa. I can always rely on Donatella [Versace] to make a beautiful dress. That woman knows how to cut a beautiful dress. I can always depend on Hedi Slimane to make something that is so cool and so driven by lifestyle, artistry, and passion. I can always depend on Alexander McQueen to make me something that will blow my mind.”

It’s kind of refreshing that Gaga sees herself as merely model/muse to designers…I feel like she knows her limitations, for once. A lot of the time I think Gaga thinks she can do anything (sing, act, dance, whatever) it’s good to know she has a healthy respect for one specific discipline/craft.
What do you think- will Gaga ever have her own line? WEIGH IN BELOW!
