Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries were scheduled to appear face-to-face this morning for the first time since their split. They are both required to appear at a settlement conference at the downtown Los Angeles courthouse this morning. They were to try and hash out an agreement to save them both from going to trial.

But here’s the deal … Mandatory settlement conferences are routine, but this case has as much a chance of settling as Farrah Abraham has getting admitted to a nunnery.

Sources tell us … Kris is shockingly still demanding $7 mil to go away, even though he says all he wants is an annulment. We’re told Kim not only is unwilling to give him a penny … she’s now demanding that he pay her attorney’s fees.

This case is destined for trial.

Here’s the trouble. Kris Humphries is in NYC! Sources tell TMZ that Kris was at a hotel in NYC at 1AM this morning, and was “extremely upset.” Apparently he didn’t get on JFK’s first flight out – which was 6:00AM. That means – there’s no way he’ll be in Los Angeles for his mandatory court appearance.

This doesn’t look good!

Kris Humphries had better things to do than listen to Kim Kardashian wax and wane about their relationship…like shoot some hoops.

Kris’ lawyer, Lee Hutton, made a big stink about Kris’ constitutional right to look Kim in the eyes as she testified under oath regarding their  messy, short-lived marriage.  So why’d Kris bounce?

According to TMZ, Kris had practice and travel obligations Tuesday, and as Kim was taking relationship stuff Kris had just finished a game Monday night in Michigan, had practice Tuesday and was traveling later that day to Dallas for a Wednesday game.

Don’t worry, though- Kris is dead set on showing up to the May 6th trial, even if it conflicts with basketball stuff. So we’ll definitely have the two in a room together very soon. I’m sure sparks will FLY!

Kim Kardashian  had a long day on Tuesday, trying to (finally) get some legal closure on her ill-fated marriage to Kris Humphries!

Kim secretly sat for her deposition at her lawyer’s offices two days ago (you remeber Laura Wasser, right? A real softie), testifying under oath that when she did accept Kris’ proposal and subsequently married the guy, that she actually did love him!

Apparently, Kim had a lot to say because the deposition lasted a whopping 9 HOURS!

TMZ Reports:

Kris Humphries’ lawyer probed for evidence that Kim defrauded Kris and only married him to goose ratings for her reality show, but we’re told Kris didn’t make any headway. He’s shooting for an annulment based on fraud, but sources say the depo didn’t help his case.

Get this … Kris did NOT show up for the depo. His lawyer made a big stink in court that  Kris had a right to be there. He didn’t even have a game on Tuesday.

As for the reality show … we’re told Kim testified it played no part in her decision to tie the knot.   Other than that, we’ve learned Kris’ lawyer, Lee Hutton, did not ask much at all about the reality show and whether it was staged. Hutton has made numerous threats that he would blow the lid off the reality show during the trial, so it’s surprising he virtually ignored it in Kim’s depo.

Kim Kardashian is in a bit of a marital pickle!

You see, the reality star doesn’t plan to wed Kanye West anytime soon, but she is angry and frustrated that Kris Humphries is putting her in a position where she may still be married to one dude while she’s having a baby with another!

Kim Kardashian is venting to close friends that her estranged husband (yep, STILL), Kris Humphries, is ruining her life!

According to Kim,  Humphries is “hell bent on dragging her name through the mud by prolonging the divorce proceedings” and claims if not for the delay, she’d already be married to the father of her unborn kid, Kanye West, by now!

Them’s fighting words, Kim!

“Kim is seeing red because she is still legally married to Kris Humphries. Kim is overjoyed at the news that she is pregnant with Kanye’s baby, but she isn’t able to fully embrace it because of Kris. Kim feels that Kris is hell bent on dragging her name through the mud by prolonging the divorce proceedings,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com.

“Kim knows that she most likely will still be married to Kris when she gives birth to Kanye’s baby, and that absolutely sickens her. Kim has been pressuring her attorney, Laura Wasser, to get Humphries to sign off on the divorce, to no avail. Kris is holding the position that if Kim grants him an annulment on the grounds that the marriage was a sham, this whole thing ends. However, Kim won’t give in to his demands because it would damage her brand,” the insider added.

Geez. I wish SOMEONE would cave! It is pretty depressing that Kim would still be married to Kris even while she’s giving birth to Kanye’s baby! It’s like a soap opera…with all K names!

Kim and Kris’ divorce lawyers will be in court setting a date for the trial on February 15th. Let’s hope this matter can finally be CLOSED!

According to Myla Sinanj, Kris Humphries and her never dated!

Myla is claiming that Kris was just a friend whom she never even texted … and she entirely denies Kris paid her off to keep her quiet.

Ms. Sinanj was deposed by Kim Kardashian‘s lawyer today in New York City, for what we hope will end this three-ring-circus of a trial.  Myla testified that she didn’t date Kris, she was never pregnant and she never got any money from him.  When asked if she had sex with Kris, Myla’s lawyer instructed her not to answer the question.

Kim Kardashian doesn’t want this divorce with Kris Humphries to be over so she can marry Kanye West…it’s because Kris has been an emotional wrecking ball in Kim’s life, and continues to be a tremendous pain!

According to TMZ, Kim was exhausted after Wednesday’s court hearing with her ex-husband. She wants this whole divorce b.s. to be over, and for GOOD.

Said Kim, “Kris is the first person I ever had to break-up with and that f**ked with my emotions.” She added, when their marriage started to fall apart “He told our producers he would destroy my career and me if the show wasn’t edited right.”

Ouch.  Kim says if Kris and his crew of lawyers really keep gunning to defraud the reality star, she’s got ammunition to fight back with.  TMZ claims that Kim has many outtakes of Keeping Up with the Kardashians that have recorded footage of Kris being “manipulative, vindictive, petty,  and a fame-hungry jerk.”

Dang!  I totally get where Kim is coming from- this divorce hearing is getting really, really old. I’d LOVE to get ahold of some of that footage, though…not that we can’t already see Kris’ true colors through this silly divorce.
