Kim Kardashian has lightened up.

The reality star — known for her deep brunette locks — went blonde over the weekend and debuted her golden locks while out in NYC on Sunday.

“I’m loving my new blonde hair!” she said on her Twitter page.  (I don’t know if I’d say she was a blonde!)

Kardashian, 28, took to Twitter Sunday to hint that a change was on the way.

“Hey everyone, I have a drastic new look!” Kardashian wrote.

Several hours later, she posted a photo for the big reveal.

“I went blonde!” she said.

Her transformation came a week after she showed fans another new look — a sunburn from her vacation in Mexico.

Kim Kardashian has been all about fitness lately with her new Work Out DVD ready to hit shelves.

She just posted behind the scenes pics at her Muscle and Fitness shoot and wrote:

“I have been going sooo hard in the gym, and I really feel it’s paying off! My tummy is soo toned. Why is it that the top part gets ripped first and the lower part is sooo hard to tone up!? I am determined to have a six pack by summer! In a feminine way of course.”
