Katy Perry has given fans a sneak peek at her raunchy new video – a series of saucy images show her cavorting in a bra on a beach and smooching with a hunky actor in the surf.
The pop star released her new single, “Teenage Dream,” online on Friday and she teased fans by posting a link to several images from the promo shoot on her Twitter page. (Watch the video above)
And the singer, who is set to wed funnyman Russell Brand later this year, has proved she’s not toning down her act ahead of married life – she dances in jeans and a black bra, surrounded by topless men and scantily-clad women.
She is also seen in the arms of hunky actor/model Josh Kloss as they kiss and frolic in the sea at Santa Barbara, California.
After massive success with her first single “California Gurls,” Katy Perry is ramping up for the release of her new album “Teenage Dream” with her second single of the same name.
Perry debuted her official album art Wednesday in a live webstream with NYC-based artist Will Cotten.
“It’s so gorgeous. I’m so excited. I’m nervous. I’m shaking a bit. This will be my first piece of real art,” Perry said.
The highly-anticipated album hits iTunes and stores on August 24.

Katy Perry is not impressed with Miley Cyrus‘ moves to change her clean-cut “Hannah Montana” image to a raunchy one. When the “I Kissed a Girl” hitmaker saw the Disney songstress backstage at MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto last month, she immediately told a friend that Miley would follow the footsteps of Britney Spears.
“Oh my God, poor girl,” Katy said as quoted by Life & Style Magazine. “She’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes.” When her friend asked if she meant Lindsay Lohan, she answered, “No, she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad.”
Unlike Katy Perry however, Dolly Parton previously defended Miley Cyrus. She is adamant that Miley is just going through a rebellious phase and she shouldn’t be judged too harshly. “I’ve known her since she was a baby. I hate it when people criticize her,” she said.”She is a great singer; she has a great voice. She’s a great little entertainer and she can speak to you like she is 50 years old. She’ll land in the right place. I really know she has everything it takes. She is just trying to find her way and she will.”
Katy Perry has nabbed her man Russel Brand and tamed some his wild side. She discusses how she first attracted him and how he has changed since the pair have been together.
“I was 25, 30 feet away from him. And I threw the bottle straight at him: hit him smack dab on the head,” she tells Esquire magazine [via Huffington Post].
“Can you imagine the horrible feeling he had, when he was used to getting everything he wanted? I was like, ‘You’ve met your match, motherf*****.’ A week later we went on vacation in Thailand.”
Does Russell’s womanising ways worry Katy? “He used to basically be a professional prostitute — now he’s not. So he’s an extremist which can be both good and bad. I always needed someone stronger than me. And I am, like, a f****** strong elephant of a women. I say that hopefully in the humblest way I can.”
She claims the 2 my appear to be opposites, but they are actually quite alike. She claims it’s like having another diva in the house. Russel and Katy are currently engaged and seem to be making it work.
Perry also discusses her huge it California girls.
“I was thinking to myself how perfect it would be to have a California anthem. I can’t let the Beach Boys down. I can’t let Tupac down. I had the idea to put Snoop on — I thought he would be the cherry on top, and it would make me look cooler.”

After performing at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Toronto a couple weeks ago, Katy Perry injured herself dancing and landed in the hospital for 17 stitches.
The UK’s Daily Mail writes that Perry, 26, “cut her leg open after falling over during an energetic dance session at a Toronto nightclub.” Details are scarce, but Perry did tweet briefly about the injury, and has since taken to performing with a skin-colored bandage on her right leg.
“17 stitches later… Don’t make fun of my dance moves tomorrow. That’s what got me here in the 1st place! Thanks for the souvenir Canada,” she wrote on Twitter.
With no hesitation Katy Perry plants a big wet smooch on a gal pal while exiting the Hotel Plaza Athenee Paris.
