The blue-haired California girl has done it again with another lavish performance during her California Dreams Tour, this time in Belfast, Ireland.

Just days after Katy Perry debuted blonde hair with just a hint of the purple color she’s been rocking for awhile now, the pop star has changed her hue yet again.
The singer, 26, was spotted leaving The Wolseley in London on Thursday night and her leopard-print hat couldn’t hide her newly dyed pink ‘do.
Back in August, Perry’s colorist explained how tricky it was to achieve the star’s desired lavender hue.
“It took three trips to the salon, which is impossible, but we made it work,” New York City salon owner, Rita Hazan told Us Weekly.
In addition to enduring stints as a redhead and a blonde, Perry had to get special nourishing oil treatments to prevent breakage.
“It’s years of skill and experience…and I prayed to the hair gods!” said Hazan.
I’m glad she changed her hair up again, I wasn’t a fan of the blonde.

Katy Perry and husband Russell Brand walked the black carpet at last night’s MTV Movie Awards looking like a cartoon character. Her dress, by Atelier Versace was just strange. Combine that with her pink hair (which looks completely unhealthy if you ask me), she looked just plain weird. I prefer her much more when she dresses “normally”. I feel like everyone’s trying too hard to make a fashion statement these days, ala Lady Gaga.
When Katy accepted her award for ‘Video of the Year’ (for “Firework”), she walked on stage wearing an ensemble by Dior, with what looked like a giant block of cheese on her head.
Katy also won ‘Best Collaboration’ for “E.T”, her collab with Kanye West.

Katy Perry celebrated her 4th of July by planking on a yacht! She tweeted the picture above during her Independence Day celebrations and was captioned, “Planking on the 4th.”
She also tweeted a picture of herself and Marina and the Diamonds lead singer, Marina. “4th of July VIRGIN @marinasdiamonds Having a great time celebrating AMERICA!!!” she tweeted.
What do you think of Katy’s red hair? Katy is reportedly trying to go back to her natural hair color, which is blonde. She’s been tweeting about the transformation, which takes some time after she’s been dying her hair black for years.
After going red, she tweeted: “So I didn’t get to the exact color (sic) I wanted from being black for so long! 2get to goal I have 2b GINGER for 3WKS.”
She added: “If I don’t wait 3wks, I’ll end up w/no hair or a #pixie90scutw/abarretteinthefront It’s okay, I’ll get to my secret color(s) soon! #patience.”
Can’t wait to see what the end result looks like, although I do like her with darker hair. We’ll see!

In the new issue of Rolling Stone, Katy Perry takes contributing editor Erik Hedegaard backstage at the kick-off of her California Dreams Tour. Between the elaborate rehearsals and three-hour make-up sessions, Perry reveals that she’s recently undergone a political awakening. “It just feels like the thing running our country is a bank, money,” she says. “I know it sounds like an intense viewpoint, but I’m only slowly but surely getting the wool taken off my eyes. When I was a kid, I asked questions about my faith. Now I’m asking questions about the world.”
She continues: “I think we are largely in desperate need of revolutionary change in the way our mindset is. Our priority is fame, and people’s wellness is way low. I saw this knowing full well that I’m a part of the problem. I’m playing the game, though I am trying to reroute. Anyway, not to get all politically divulging and introspective, but the fact that America doesn’t have free health care drives me fucking absolutely crazy, and is so wrong.”
It took Perry a while to learn to embrace her body. “I started praying for [breasts] when I was, like, 11,” she says. “And God answered that prayer above and beyond, by, like, 100 times, until I was like, ‘Please, stop, God. I can’t see my feet anymore. Please stop!’ I was a lot more rectangular then. I didn’t understand my body. Someone in sixth grade called me ‘Over-the-shoulder boulder holder.’ I didn’t know I could use them. So, what I did was, I started taping them down. How long did I tape them down for? Probably until I was about 19. And, no, I don’t have any psychological pain because of it.”
Perry is the first artist to ever have at least one song ranked in the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100 for a full year – but she remains a polarizing figure. “Whenever people ask me about having bad reviews, I’m like, ‘Have you seen the run I’ve had? Have you seen the numbers?’” she says. “Numbers do not lie!” At the same time, she recognizes the limitations of pop music. “I’m not a dummy,” she says. “I know ‘California Gurls’ isn’t going to save the world. But I got a lot of heart from my upbringing and I put a lot of heart in my songs.”
