Dang, Katy Perry!
Not only did she kinda kill it in ONE very important September issue of Harper’s Bazaar, but she shot three covers that all kinda rule, in my humble opinion.
The first newsstand issue (what you see in the big pic) is pretty dramatic and classic- Katy’s in a Saint Laurent by Hedi Slimane dress and Cartier bracelet. Then there’s a full body version of that look and a version where she channels a pop-art Elizabeth Taylor which I love most.
Check out the gallery below and tell us which cover you dig most (and if you’re Taylor Swift, you do NOT have to answer)…

THIS is how bad blood gets…let?
Nicki Minaj officially put an end to her Twitter “feud” with Swift yesterday, after the two talked on the phone and voiced their opinions.
The “Style” singer had already publicly apologized to Minaj on Thursday after she took offense to a Tweet by the rapper that complained that “Anaconda” wasn’t nominated for video of the year at the MTV Video Music Awards because it didn’t feature enough women “with very slim bodies.”Other stars like Katy Perry, Camilla Belle, Aaron Paul and Ed Sheeran weighed in, presumably because they had nothing better to do. Eventually, Swift said that she had “missed the point” of Minaj’s original complaints. Minaj quickly accepted her apology, saying that “everyone makes mistakes.” You’d think that was it, but then Minaj revealed that the two decided to communicate you know, with their mouths. Over phones. Like adults.
During her GMA appearance, Minaj revealed that she had spoken to Swift on the phone on Thursday and said that they are “all good.”
“She was super, super sweet and she apologized,” the rapper said. “She said, ‘You know, look, I didn’t understand the big picture of what you were saying. But now I get it.’ So we’re all good.”
Minaj also said that she would be open to collaborating with Swift in the future.
“I’m sure we can. You know why? Because it takes a big person to do what Taylor did. Everyone sometimes speaks out of turn. I’ve been there. Sometimes we do things and we don’t think right away. We don’t investigate and then we just talk. It was big of her to come out and say that. So yes, we spoke for a long time. We were cracking up laughing on the phone. It’s over, you guys.”
While their social media scuffle with Swift is over, Nicki isn’t backing down about her original criticism of the VMAs. So- that still stands, y’all.

Just FYI, in case anyone cared…
Katy Perry and John Mayer may have just gone to a Grateful Dead concert together earlier in the month, but whatever, because I guess they’ve decided to part ways…again.
You know, until their paths inevitably cross (again), and they meet up at some after hours bar by Craigs, and sneak off to some apartment and we only know it’s them because of Katy’s Dayglo scrunchie, like a beacon in the dark dark night.
The news broke Thursday that the singers have decided to split again, but who knows what next week brings?
How long do you think these guys are gonna do this?

Taylor Swift wants to apologize!
The star took to Twitter today to apologize to Nicki Minaj, a full two days after the two women got into it over the MTV Video Music Awards.
“I thought I was being called out,” Swift, 25, wrote on Thursday morning. “I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ.”
As we reported yesterday, the “Bad Blood” singer swiped at Minaj on Tuesday, July 21, writing:
“@NICKIMINAJ I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot..” after the rapper called out the VMAs for her lack of nomination in the Video of the Year category.
The “Anaconda” performer was not having it, writing:
“If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year. I’m not always confident. Just tired. Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it.”
Woah, that’s big of you, Taylor. What do you think of her apology?
