Kate Gosselin was out makeup free this morning as she ran errands near her home.

Kate reportedly was desperate enough to stay on reality TV that she wanted to sign on for ‘Dance Moms’, but Jon put the brakes on her plan:

“I will not sign for them [their kids] to be on TV ever.”

Kate blasted the story, saying it was all lies:

“anything you read in the natl enquirer is lies..Especially one with my name and dance moms together! Seriously? You had to ask?”

Do you think Kate would go that far to stay in the spotlight? Or is she just an easy target for rumors?

Kate Gosselin is finding herself in hot water this morning for saying in an interview on the Today Show that ex-husband Jon Gosselin works a “mediocre…regular job”.

“So according to @Kateplusmy8 people that are not in tv are just mediocre!!!” wrote her fan, @macgal_74.

Gosselin immediately explained her comment on Twitter.

” not what I meant.. I meant this job is not a career acc 2 jon but tv is and is hard but will prov best opps 4 my kids vs nursing!” Jon reportedly works in solar-panel construction.

She then added, “2clarify re ‘mediocre’ – I meant this job is not a career acc 2 jon but tv is 4 me & is hard but will prov best opps 4 my kids vs nursing!”

The comment came up when Lauer asked her about estranged husband Jon saying he was “very relieved” the show was over.

Gosselin replied, “It’ a situation where Jon may be accepting of mediocre for his kids and working a regular job. I want the best for my kids and the best opportunities not unlike every parent. To be a good parent is to work as hard as you can and give them the best opportunities in life, and this has provided that.”

I have always thought Kate was a mega-bitch, even when she and Jon were still together. What she said doesn’t surprise me a bit. Would we expect anything less from her?

So what’s next for Kate? She also announced this morning her first post-Kate Plus 8 project.

“KatePlusMy8.com goes live today as a place where fans can go and follow us, so we’re not just sort of ending,” she said. The site is still under construction.

Kate Gosselin and her brood are on the cover of People Magazine again, and yet this time, it seems much more desperate. Since her reality show was canceled on TLC,  Kate is terrified of her future – and is trying desperately to stay relevant.

Kate Gosselin’s long-time TLC show Kate Plus 8 has been canceled, and she’s the first to admit that the transition from reality star to regular mom isn’t going to be an easy one.

“I’m freaking out. Big time,” she tells PEOPLE in the new issue.

Her kids, twins Cara and Mady, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel “weren’t ready,” to leave the show, which has been airing since 2005, she adds. “Nobody was. I’ve never quit a job in my life without having something else lined up. I don’t know what’s next.”

But Gosselin, 36, whose messy divorce from husband Jon played out in the tabloids – and on TV – in 2009, vows to work hard to keep the lifestyle she’s provided for her kids.

“I told them I will work my fingers to the bone to make sure that they can stay here and go to their school,” she says. “There are no guarantees in life for anyone, but they know that I’m giving it my best shot.”

The final episode of Kate Plus 8 airs Sept. 12 on TLC.

I really hope for these kids sake that Kate doesn’t find anything else in the public eye. She should retire from anything on TV – move to a new city – and let her children try and have a bit of a normal childhood. I wonder what’s in store for ol’ Kate…

Newly unemployed Kate Gosselin was spotted with her tribe of tots going to get back-to-school haircuts. I wonder where she decided to take the clan, maybe the same place she goes to get her $2,000 hair treatments? Who knows. One thing’s for sure: she’s got some adorable kiddies.

The public’s fascination has ended with the Gosselin’s has apparently waned, causing ratings for Kate Gosselin’s TLC show ‘Kate Plus 8′ to plummet, resulting in the network pulling the plug on the reality show.

TLC announced today that they will no longer follow the 36-year-old single mother as she raises her eight children.

“TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate + 8. By the end of this season Kate + 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate + 8), an exceptional milestone,” the network tells Us in a statement. “TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family periodically with specials in the future.”

Kate took to Twitter this afternoon to talk about the cancellation.

“TLC canceled it. I’m sorry,” Kate told her nearly 30,000 followers. “We’ve had a great run! Six years of whirlwind fun-filled adventures. Thanks to TLC and our many, many supportive and diehard fans! While it is very sad for me and the kids (there were many tears at the breakfast table this morning!), we are we are looking forward with great anticipation to our bright future!”

“As is very typical for me, I am choosing to see the positive in this situation and I am excited to consider the many more invigorating opportunities that may come my way,” she added. “I poured my entire self into the last six years of Kate + 8 and I can’t wait to have the chance to challenge myself again with future endeavors!”

“In the meantime, I hope to have more time for motivational speaking, book writing and other fun work opportunities that come my way,” she wrote. “And maybe even some dating? We wish our fans well. And remember, this is not ‘goodbye.’ I prefer to say ‘See you around!’”

I really wonder if anyone will give Kate another show. I can’t stand the woman. I think she’s way too abrasive, it’s hard to watch her. I never watched a single episode of her show – so I’m not upset it got canceled. What about you – did you watch it?

Kate Gosselin is single and looking for love!

Monday morning on NBC’s Today Show, the divorced mother of eight said she’s “definitely ready to start dating.”

“I think there’s a lot of obstacles for me,” the 36-year-old admitted. “But in all honesty, I’ve talked to my best friend and said wouldn’t it be great if she could go around the country and collect suitable people because the odds of me sort of bumping into someone are rare.”

Why does the Kate Plus Eight star, who divorced Jon Gosselin in 2009, think it’s “rare” that she’ll happen upon her perfect man in her day-to-day life? “I have eight kids,” she said. “I have a crazy work schedule. I’m known… I am ready to start dating, but it’s sort of daunting.”

Gosselin said her children — 10-year-old twins Cara and Nicole, and 7-year-old septuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel — are hopeful for a step-father. They’re “just begging on a daily basis for me to get married again,” she said. “They bring it up all the time, and I’m like, ‘I don’t… I’m not dating anyone.’”

Famous mom Kate Gosselin is single and looking.

But she’s being very picky… and being “smart” and “drive” are just a couple of the many qualifications on her list.

“There is nobody. Do you have any friends, Kit, that are single?” Kate askedAccess Hollywood Live co-host Kit Hoover on Monday’s show as the “Kate Plus 8” mom sat down for an interview. “[I’m looking for a guy in his] 40s, in that range. Greatest things, smart, wise, driven, determined.”

“Hot?” Access Hollywood Live co-host Billy Bush asked.

“Yeah, of course” Kate said. “Looks good standing next to me.”

The mother of eight said she’s not worried about a guy’s bank account.

“Wealthy, eh, I don’t mind working,” she explained.

The 36-year-old, who said she’s not one to make out on a first date, said her last romantic outing was “awhile ago.”

“I’ve never been the kind of person, like, if I can’t meet you in and in five minutes and see that there’s something, I’m not the kind that will go out on dates just to go out,” she told Billy and Kit. “I have better things to do.”

As for ex-husband Jon Gosselin, Kate said their relationship has improved recently.

“He’s actually working now, he has a job, so he has a different focus, which is good…something with roof solar panels, I think,” she said of Jon. “He’s actually making an effort to, you know, the four days a month that he has the kids, they come home happy. He’s making a better effort to have a better environment to have them visit, which is good.

“I do wish he would see them more, but that is what he has chosen,” she added. “The kids would like to see him more. At least it’s consistent. I can at least count on those four days… but anytime he wants them more, he can have them more and he knows that.”
