Looks like their hair dresser Ken Paves was also there!

Actress Kate Beckinsale shared in a new interview with Parade Magazine that she’s an avid reader – including ‘The Hunger Games‘ – and dishes on motherhood to teen daughter Lily Sheen.
On her favorite books as a kid.
“I loved all the E. Nesbit books like Five Children and It and The Enchanted Castle. As I got older, we had a real craze in our country called The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, which everybody was really into. I was reading Jane Eyre when I was 11 and I loved that. Actually, my daughter read Jane Eyre when she was 11, too. I wasn’t very frightened of classic novels. I feel like my brain is more geared towards a novel than it is to a movie. “
She’s a fan of The Hunger Games.
“Oh yea! Actually, my daughter’s school encouraged all the parents and teachers and students to read The Hunger Games, so it promoted a massive discussion of it. For some reason, my daughter was a little bit resistant to it at first, but then we just were all completely overwhelmed by it. It was actually this summer that we were all reading it and loving it. We can’t wait for the movie. It looks fantastic.”
On life with a teenage daughter.
“I’m literally a couple months into that. It has been largely about Bar Mitzvahs lately! I had a child young enough that it doesn’t feel too far away from my own experience. I feel like I flunked at adolescence really badly. I found it really difficult. I’m very supportive of how tricky seventh and eighth grade are for girls. I think it’s a very difficult time, but she’s doing great.”
On balancing work and motherhood.
“It’s a constant juggle. It tends to be one extreme to another. I guess that’s how I’ve managed it all this time. I’ll do a crazy blast of working and then I’ll be home for a bit. It’s tricky and something that I don’t think I’d be able to pull off without having my parents come out and help out. I do feel that family is very important and I’m lucky enough that my parents are very happy to come and stay with us for a couple months. I think the thing that you miss out on is some extra hours of sleep, which would be really welcomed, but that tends to fall behind!

Before the Oscar madness began this weekend, the Independent Spirit Awards were taking place. Here are just a few of the fashion highlights from the night: Zoe Saldana, Kate Beckinsale and Michelle Williams.
I’m on the fence with Michelle’s ensemble. I love it and I hate it! It’s cute, but seems too….something. I just can’t put my finger on it!

I don’t know if a lot of celebs avoided the red carpet before the Grammy Awards ceremony last night or what, but there aren’t a ton of photos to pick from this morning! Here are a few of the highlights: Paris Hilton, Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, and Kate Beckinsale.
Do you have any favorites from last night? I did love what Adele wore for her performance – it was simple and gorgeous. She doesn’t need flashy and funky costumes to grab our attention – her voice is enough.

Kate Beckinsale was smashing in this deep red dress at an ‘Underworld: Awakening‘ photocall in Madrid.
Did you see the movie this weekend? Was it good? Better than the previous three? We’re heading out to see this later tonight – I have high hopes! We missed Kate in the previous one, but I know I’m going to miss Michael Sheen‘s character this time around!

The red carpet fashion at last night’s Golden Globes was pretty tame, much like the broadcast itself. Lea Michele’s gown was about the riskiest thing there! Even Tilda Swinton, who usually brings the funk, played it safe with her wardrobe and hair.
There are a TON of photos, so I’ll break it up into a few posts for you! Check out the gallery and share your thoughts! Some of the gallery shots: Kate Beckinsale, Kate Winslet, Heidi Klum, Michelle Williams, Calista Flockhart, Sofia Vergara, Zooey Deschanel, George Clooney, Julie Bowen, Rooney Mara, and more.

Here is our first look at Colin Farrell on the set of ‘Total Recall’ on it’s first day of shooting outside the studio in Toronto, Canada.
Colin will take on the role made famous by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1990′s as secret agent Hauser.
The action flick, due out August 3, 2012, also stars Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel and Ethan Hawke.
