“Mirror Mirror“ star Julia Roberts admits that she tried Botox and vows not to do it again – for the sake of her kids.

“I tried the Botox one time and was permanently surprised for a couple months and it was not a cute look for me.”

“My feeling is, I have three children who should know what emotion I’m feeling at the exact moment I’m feeling it. Like, that is critical.”

“As a mother it’s whatever works for the person,” Julia continued. “I don’t want to judge somebody who can’t turn their head or move their lips. I don’t know — if you want your chin on your forehead I’m not one to [judge]. If that’s going to bring you joy, I’m all for it.”

You definitely need your kids to see those “looks” we moms are so famous for…both good and bad!

I really hate when celebrities get all full of themselves, and trash the movies that made them famous. I know Richard Gere was famous before ‘Pretty Woman’, but that was one of those classic movies that sort of shot him into stratosphere – so to speak. So to hear him trash the movie – makes me think he’s an idiot, in all honesty.

In an astonishing new interview, Richard Gere has blasted the movie, arguably the most famous of his career, labelling it a ‘silly romcom’.

The 62-year-old actor added to Australian magazine Woman’s Day magazine that he believes his character in the film even helped trigger the worldwide economic meltdown.

Speaking to Woman’s Day magazine, he said: ‘People ask me about that movie but I’ve forgotten it.

‘That was a silly romantic comedy.’

He also says the character he played in the movie, Edward Lewis, glorified brash Wall St financiers.

Gere added: ‘It made those guys seem dashing, which was wrong. Thankfully, today, we are all more sceptical of those guys.’

In the outspoken interview, Gere also appears to dismiss the relationships he had with the likes of Kim Basinger, Uma Thurman and Priscilla Presley more than 20 years ago.

He said: ‘In the 1980s, relationships were all about status.’

It reminds me of Katherine Heigl trashing ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ and ‘Knocked Up’. Like just shut your mouth and be thankful. Who cares what you really think.

Julia Roberts graces the April cover of Vanity Fair, and it’s a beautiful cover in my opinion. I really love Julia, even if she’s been making nothing but horrible movies lately. Hated ‘Valentine’s Day’, thought she was the wrong pick for ‘Eat, Pray, Love’, ‘Larry Crowne’ will always be remembered by me as the worst movie I’ve ever been forced to watch (was on a plane) and from what I’ve seen, ‘Mirror, Mirror’ is going to be awful too. She needs to go back to making amazing movies. Be pickier Julia, you can afford it.

In Vanity Fair’s April 2012 cover story, Oscar winner and Mirror, Mirror actress Julia Roberts tells contributing editor Sam Kashner how Meryl Streep’s daughter gave her precious insight into raising kids as a famous mom. According to Roberts, her children have yet to understand what it means that their mother is a celebrity—but she talked to Grace Gummer about her own realization. “Grace comes up and goes, ‘Gosh, it’s so sweet seeing all your kids on the set. It reminds me of when I was little, and I would go see my mom at work.’ I asked, ‘Were you happy?’ Suddenly, I thought, here is a source of information,” Roberts says. “I said, ‘How old were you when you realized your mom was Meryl Streep?’ She said, ‘I think I was probably nine when I put that all together.’ I said, ‘Were you cool with it?’ She said, ‘Yeah, it was fine. There was no trauma.’ So that was hopeful.”

Roberts recalls a time “on a crowded street, and somebody noticed me, and then another person noticed. Somebody said as we were walking past, ‘Oh, that’s Julia Roberts.’ We all just kind of kept going, and then Finn said, ‘Yeah, my mom’s Julia Robinson.’ That’s what gives you perspective. It could be Robinson, it could be Johnson, because it has nothing to do with me as a person.”

Roberts tells Kashner that there had been “a time when I was encouraged—as all young actresses are—you know, ‘You’ve got to keep going; you’ve got to get out there.’” Unfortunately for them, Roberts says, young actors nowadays don’t have the benefit of the same kind of experience that she had when just starting out: “The business is so different; you can never be that new girl that has that moment of ‘Where’d she come from?’” she says. “There’s the express elevator and there’s rehab. It’s so awful; nobody gets a fair trial-and-error period that everybody deserves and everybody needs.”

Julia Roberts showed up at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of ‘Jesus Henry Christ’ with her sister Lisa. Julia teamed up with her sister Lisa Roberts Gillan to co-produce the film.

This colorful, modern family comedy revolves around 10-year-old boy genius Henry James Herman (Jason Spevack) and his fervently left-wing single mother Patricia (Toni Collette), who works at the local university’s cafeteria. A misfit from birth, Henry’s precocious, rabble-rousing ways catch up with him when he gets kicked out of school for writing “Manifestos on the Nature of Truth.” Meanwhile, 12-year-old Audrey (Samantha Weinstein) has her own problems because of her single father, university professor Dr. Slavkin O’Hara (Michael Sheen), who used her as the test subject for his best-selling book Born Gay or Made that Way? Needless to say, she gets a not-so-nice nickname from her classmates. When Henry scores a scholarship to the university as a child prodigy, the two families cross paths and everything they knew about their lives is thrown to the wind.

Writer/director Dennis Lee gives all characters their fair share of snappy dialogue and off-the-wall moments of hilarity, spiking the film with playful charm and visual flair. Collette and Sheen effortlessly flex their comedic muscles with bright newcomers Spevack and Weinstein in this whimsical tale.

I love both Toni Collette and Michael Sheen! Can’t wait to see it!
