Katy Perry Wants Kids Now!

Katy Perry Wants Kids Now!

Pop star Katy Perry is apparently telling her friends that she is ready to start having kids as soon as humanly possible!

Katy and John Mayer called it quits in February and she isn’t wasting any time telling pals that she wants to get pregnant.

An insider said, “Katy wants kids as soon as possible. She’s not talking about new boyfriends so much as finding a guy who can get her pregnant without expecting marriage.”

In addition, she thinks that having a baby is the perfect move in her career. The source added, “If she goes through with this, it will be as much a publicity stunt as anything else in her career. As she admits to her friends all the time,, she is addicted to attention!”

Someone should tell her that having a baby is a bigger life decision than just a publicity stunt. Derp.

Charlie Sheen and John Mayer are at war now!

This is a bit of a weird one, but considering Charlie Sheen‘s name’s in the headline, you’re probably not at all surprised there. Here’s the deal: John Mayer apparently bought $5 million worth of Rolex watches (as you do, apparently?), only to turn around and file a lawsuit against the broker responsible for the deal, Bob Maron, saying that some of the parts used in the watches were fake.

Now, Bob, of course, says that John knew that the watch parts were fake and specifically wanted them because of this, which doesn’t really make sense. But where does Charlie come in to this whole equation? Well, apparently John is only starting this because Bob convinced the staff of Rolling Stone to put Charlie on the cover instead of John.

Charlie Sheen says John Mayer’s lawsuit against famed watch broker Bob Maron has nothing to do with fake Rolexes … it’s all retribution because Charlie bumped John off the cover of “Rolling Stone.”

Charlie called in to “TMZ Live” and told us Mayer is using the watch thing to mask his bitter feelings toward Bob …  who convinced “Rolling Stone” Charlie was a more worthy cover than John.

Charlie says it’s all petty celebrity jealousy.

This entire thing seems insane to me. The fact that Charlie thinks a situation that literally has nothing to do with him actually is completely about him shows you how off the rails he still is. Leave the drugs alone, Charlie.

Katy Perry and John Mayer broke up due to “fundamental differences”

Katy Perry and John Mayer may have thought they were soul mates for a short while, but the shine soon wore off that diamond and the pair broke up earlier this month. BUT WHY?! I hear you ask. HOW COULD THIS BE? Sometimes things just happen even when two people love each other very much.

So what really happened with Katy and John?

“They’re two very strong-willed people. Despite caring about each other very much and wanting to make it work, they are, at their core, quite different.”

“At times they seemed really happy together and in love, and other times he seemed like he just wanted to get away from all the parties and go home. I can’t say I always blamed him.”

So basically, nothing. It’s just over. Will they get back together? Only time will tell…

Katy Perry Wants “A Normal Relationship” With John Mayer

Katy Perry & John Mayer Dine Out At Osteria Mozza

Katy Perry is going on the record: she’s not trying to make her relationship with John Mayer into a high profile thing!

Here’s what People reports, via Entertainment Weekly:

“I want to have a normal life with a normal relationship and I don’t want to be forced to just hang out in a hotel room all the time,” she tells Entertainment Weekly. The singer-songwriter, 29, says that while she shares “bits and pieces,” she doesn’t want to reveal everything about their life together.

“I keep enough to myself,” she says. “I’m going to go on dates and movies and dinners and when I do it’s not because I’m trying to garner any kind of publicity, it’s because it’s something that is just an inevitable byproduct of this life. It’s never my main focus, it’s never intentional. [My] ideal date is just dinner and a movie. It’s so normal. And a hike, we love to hike.”

The other thing she loves to do with her boyfriend – whom began dating in the summer of 2012 before breaking up and getting back together – is hang out in the recording studio together. Perry collaborated with Mayer on a song for his album, and he was there when she recorded her new album, Prism.

“I think he’s very proud of it,” she says. “He’s heard it over the process of me making it. I think his opinion is a priority for me, but also me being happy with it is probably a bit more of a priority. And also what the world thinks of it, and how boring would it be if I did censor myself and I wasn’t able to write about real-life instances? I mean, that’s just not what songwriters do – real songwriters write about their lives.”

Collaboration and normal dinner and movie dates? It actually does sound kind of normal (with, you know, a lot more money at stake).  What do you think about Katy’s interview? Do you believe her? I don’t think this couple will last, but at least they’re trying!

John Mayer Addresses ‘Paper Doll’ Rumors Regarding Taylor Swift

John Mayer Addresses 'Paper Doll' Rumors Regarding Taylor Swift

We were wondering if John Mayer would ever respond to questions about his song Paper Doll being about country singer Taylor Swift. She wrote Dear John about him in an obvious attempt to boost her career off of breakup anthems about her ex-boyfriends….so, is turnabout fair play?

During his TODAY show appearance, he was asked to address the rumors that the song was about Taylor. Us Magazine reports:

“There’s been some speculation from the press that it might be about someone,” co-host Willie Geist asked, without directly mentioning Swift’s name. “True or false?”

“Yeah, songwriters write songs because of people, about people,” Mayer said. “Anything someone else wrote is their reception of a song. I don’t get involved with [it]. It’s none of my business.”

He didn’t exactly give a clear answer, but we still think it’s about her. He’s trying to take the high road, but it’s kind of obvious, isn’t it? What do you think?
