While in France for Paris Fashion Week, the socialite goes on a shopping spree at Celine and Isabel Marant.  Stylishly sporting a hat, blazer (topped with a leopard print coat), and aviator sunglasses, Nicole smiles her day away while updating her wardrobe!

And how does hubby Joel Madden feel about Nicole being on the other side of the world? Earlier today, he tweets, “My wife is at Fashion week in Paris. I am not. All is well in the world.”

The couple have only been married for two months, and Nicole Richie describes married life as “magical”.

Nicole has decided to take husband Joel Madden’s last name, according to PEOPLE.

“I just went to Ireland, and it was really the first time I was called Mrs. Madden,” she says. “The people were asking me if my last name is Madden, and I was like, ‘Yeah, my last name is Madden now.’ And they were like, ‘You’re one of us!’ And I was like, “Oh, hell yeah I am.’ It’s awesome to be known as Mrs. Madden. It’s music to my ears.”

Nicole is currently in New York, where she’ll premiere her highly anticipated collection House of Harlow 1960 at Fashion Week. She was pictured stepping out last night in NYC.

People Magazine got the coveted picture of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden on their wedding day. Look at Nicole’s gorgeous wedding gown, designed by Marchesa.

Nicole and Joel were married on December 11th at her fathers mansion.

They tied the knot in front of their children – Harlow, 2, was the flower girl, while 15-month-old Sparrow was the ring-bearer – under a tent transformed to resemble a French garden.

“It was magical,” Richie, 29, tells PEOPLE. Adds Madden, 31: “It was the best night of my life.”

For her big day, Richie wore three stunning Marchesa dresses, including one featuring a ball-gown skirt crafted from more than 100 yards of hand-draped silk organza and tulle petals.
