Jenny McCarthy is almost 40, but she’s still Hugh Hefner’s darling!

McCarthy will now appear naked in the July 2012 issue of the magazine, after Hefner caught wind of McCarthy showing interest in appearing in the publication before she turned the big 4-0.

McCarthy kicked off her career with a Playboy pictorial in 1993 and went on to become that year’s Playmate of the Year. After that, her career took off, including a hosting stint for MTV and her own sketch show. McCarthy has since returned for spreads in the men’s magazine over the years and has always talked about her time working for playboy as being a profoundly positive one.

Happy birthday, Ms. McCarthy!  You look great- why not do it?

Jenny McCarthy and boyfriend Paul Krepelka were spotted on the sand outside her Malibu home yesterday, where they both flaunted their bodies.

Jenny, Jenny, Jenny, don’t your remember what happened to Iyanla Vanzant when she ditched Oprah and ventured out on her own? It wasn’t good.

Personally, If I wanted a career boost I’d hang on to Oprah with every inch of strength I could muster up. But that’s just me.

Jenny McCarthy has left Oprah’s network OWN and signed on with NBC. It is speculated that there was a difference in opinions on how the show would be projected, so Jenny packed up and took her show elsewhere.

“Jenny wasn’t thrilled with the direction that OWN producers were going with on the show,” a source tells FOX411.com of McCarthy, 38. “She had been working with Oprah and her producers for over a year, developing this project for OWN. Jenny finally decided to embrace Oprah’s philosophy, which is to ‘follow your bliss.’ Well, Jenny followed her bliss and walked right off the project.”

The departure was probably a shock to Winfrey. McCarthy and Oprah had become friends through Jenny’s efforts as advocate for children with Autism. Jenny even wrote a blog on Oprah.com.

Oprah has acknowledged that her network is struggling and has put pressure on her.

“Over the years I had complete control,” Winfrey told TV execs in June. “It’s a little harder making a judgment as to what other shows can do. It’s about finding your particular flow and being able to connect to it.”

I’ve always been a fan of the Oprah Winfrey Show, but have yet to watch her new network OWN.

Jenny McCarthy has broken up with her sports-agent boyfriend, Paul Krepelka, Life & Style has learned exclusively. “The long-distance thing proved too much for them, and they just mutually decided that it wasn’t going to work,” a source close to Krepelka tells Life & Style. “He didn’t want to move to LA, and she certainly can’t move to Boston. They’re still friends; they just couldn’t make it work.”

After first meeting on a blind date, Jenny, 38, made her relationship with Paul public when she locked lips with the 43-year-old entertainment-sports attorney on the 2011 New Year’s Rockin’ Eve TV special. The actress then gushed about her Boston beau on the Jan. 12 episode of Ellen DeGeneres’ daytime talk show, saying, “I’m really happy.”

49-year-old Jim Carrey’s stepped out with his new girlfriend, model Anchal Joseph, a 24-year-old former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant. The happy couple were spotted leaving  Broadway’s Cort Theater last night after seeing ‘Time Stands Still’ starring Christina Ricci and Laura Linney. (More pictures from last night here!)

24-year-old Anchal is only one year older than Jim’s daughter (awkward!).

Jenny McCarthy makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” today. Jenny gushes about her new boyfriend, Paul, and reveals how they met!

Jenny opens up to Ellen about her new boyfriend, Paul, whom she’s been dating for five weeks. She shocked friends by kissing someone on New Years Eve. “Everyone thought, ‘Oh my god. She kissed a random dude.’ But no, it was the boy that I’m currently seeing named Paul who I like a lot. He’s very sweet.”

Ellen: Now, how long have you been seeing Paul?

Jenny: For like, 5 weeks, I think it’s been.

Ellen: What do you mean, “I think?” At that point, you know exactly how many days.

Jenny: Okay, it’s like 36 days and two hours but I decided to import this time because I wasn’t doing a very good job with LA guys. These LA dudes had more make up in their purse than me. They’d literally pull out their knapsack of concealers and I’m like, it’s time to look outside of LA. I found a boy. I went on some blind dates. He was my 5th blind date.

Ellen: Who set you up on blind dates?

Jenny: I told everyone I know, “Please, I can’t pick them. As a friend, find me a man.” So the first blind dates were these really bizarre dudes that were like, “Do you know Sharon Stone?” And I’m sitting on a date going, “Well, I know of her. I’ve seen her in movies.” “Well, you think you can get an autograph?” I’m like, “Oh my god.”

Ellen: What kind of friend set you up with that guy?

Jenny: Not a very good one. So my sister was the one who turned me on to Paul who’s a sports agent and lives in Boston. His accent is so strong it’s like Good Will Hunting strong that I really can’t understand anything he says to me. He could’ve proposed to me and I could’ve said yes by now and I have no idea. And I’m really happy.

Ellen: So he lives in Boston so you went on a date here or there? He came here?

Jenny: No, we met up in New York. We had a blind date there. You know that movie, “Up in The Air?”

Ellen: That’s what’s happening?

Jenny: We’ve been meeting up in the air in both cities and trying to make it work.

Ellen: So you’re very happy it seems.

Jenny: I am. I feel content. Everybody’s asking me the magic question, “Has he met [son] Evan?” Evan is, by the way, on the strictest VIP meet and greet which is like 6 months. I don’t have guys meeting him on a cycle. That boy is very important to me.

Ellen: Good, because that would be very confusing for him.

Jenny: It would be.
