James Blunt under fire for posing in picture near Auschwitz, and leaving insensitive comment

It seems like every day I get online these days there’s some story about some celeb angering people, and those people screaming for an apology. Doesn’t it? Every single day someone says something to upset SOMEONE. Which begs the question (I ask every time): Are people getting too sensitive? I can see how James’ comment was simply meant to be funny.
As of when this story was written, over 17,000 fans flooded his Facebook page with complaints.
What do you think? Does it matter what his intentions were? Does he owe an apology?
The “You’re Beautiful” singer enraged fans by posing outside a dilapidated building near former Nazi death camp Auschwitz, and writing on his Facebook page: “Uh, this is my hotel in Poland,” reports The Daily Mail.
Since the photo went up on Saturday, Blunt’s Facebook page has been flooded with more than 17,000 comments and complaints regarding the bizarre remark made during his stay in Oświęcim, where Auschwitz is located.
According to The Daily Mail, the singer was actually staying in five-star accommodations throughout his tour, which included a stop at the Life Festival at Mosir Stadium, just a few miles from the site where hundreds of thousands were killed more than 60 years ago.
Despite the barrage of negative comments from fans the photo remains on Blunt’s Facebook page.
